Headhunter

"They need to start a series with this game!"

After reading about Headhunter in the Official Dreamcast Magazine I said to myself, ''I have to have this!''. Well as in disappointment, the game was cancelled for the US Dreamcast. But, not for the European Dreamcast. So I said, sweet, at least I can buy the import! So I ordered the game from www.gameplay.com in Europe. I got the game in no time in excellent condition. So I start playing it.

Gameplay
The gameplay is great in my opinion. You get to start off with a training mission if you would like. I think it's a good start to do it so you can get used to the controls. This game is similar to Metal Gear Solid. You can sneak up against the wall and peak around a corner, or sneak up on someone and dispose of them. One of the greatest features in the game is getting to drive the motorcycle. The motorcycle is great fun! Driving around the huge city at 200kmph is great.

Controls
The controls arn't perfect. Driving the motorcycle at first can get anyoing because you can't get good control over it, but like me, you'll probably get used to it. Controlling Jack is pretty basic. You use the Analog circle pad to move him, while the digital pad can pick from different items.

Graphics
Graphics are awesome! Doing burn outs in the motorcycle couldn't get more pretty :) Also, the cut scenes are done very well. You'll also get to see real actors playing as TV news host which keeps you more interested as it seems like its reel life.

Sound
The voice acting, gunshots, motorcycle sounds are all A's in my view. The crash sounds of the grenades to the rolling on the floor all are done extremley well.

The Area to explore
I like games that you get to explore like GTA3. These games are my favorite. In Headhunter, you get to explore a huge city and an extremley fast motorcycle. Its a shame though, you cant get off your motorcycle unless its a place you are supposed to go to. Anyway, the traffic is pretty heavy so you have to watch out for everything when on the bike.

Overall
Overall the sound, gameplay, controls, and graphics are all very, very good. I recommend this game if you like any type of 3rd person adventure.
