Unreal Tournament

"All I can say is wow! This game is awesome! Best First Person Shooter ever!"

The best PC shooter of all time (in my opinion) gets released on the Dreamcast! Not only that, but it's an awesome conversion, too! The game is just so fun to play, it excels in every category, and is my favorite Dreamcast game.

Graphics
Wow. The Dreamcast graphics are faithful to the PC original. The game runs at a high speed, and the graphics are just awesome. The game's engine can handle up to 7 other bots on screen, and even then, there's no hint of slowdown. Enemies die realistically, like when you do a head shot with the Sniper Rifle , they fall onto their knees and it looks so funny. Shooting someone with a rocket launcher causes them to go flying in the air, their bodies twisting and turning.

Sound

To be honest, there is background music, but I rarely hear it because of the action. The voice and sound effects are good, like when you kill someone, your character will call out a taunt, like ''Mediiiic!'', ''You be dead'' and ''Looser!''. The commentators voice is good, for instance when you kill 5 people without getting yourself killed, you'll go on a killing spree, and the commentator will announce it. The sound effects like the guns firing sound exceptional, with my favorites being the Minigun and the Double Enforcers. Great here then.

Gameplay

Now this is where the game shines through. It is so easy to pick up and play, that anyone can easily finish the game on Novice difficulty, but jack it up to Inhuman and you may struggle to win the first match. The game is just so fun to play, and being the Dreamcast the great system it is, the game can support up to 4 players. This is insane fun, and provides hours of replay value. Although the graphical detail decreases, the game still runs fast. Even if you cannot play in 4 player mode, it is still fun to play the computer. There are many modifiers you can you mess around with during a practice session, like one hit kills and super jumps. To describe how much fun this game is, is like to describe how many features you can play around with in Sega GT. It's just so fun, and you can play forever and ever. Also, if you live in the U.S.A, you can play online, but unfortunately, you cannot here in the United Kingdom :'(Anyway, the game is so good the lack of online support here doesn't bother me.

There are a lot of guns here, and each have primary and secondary fire. There's loads of items, like the damage amplifier and invisibility, which are cool in multiplayer :) The AI bots are also intelligent, and will work in teams to take you out. Man, I love this game
