BANG! Gunship Elite

"Awesome game with great classic gaming feel"

So im browsing through my local video game store with some cash to blow, when I see the words BANG! jump out at me. So I pick up Bang! Gunship Elite, I buy it, I take it home, and it was sweet! This is an incredible game where you get a chance to exact vengence on that digital scum that took you out in space invaders.
In a nutshell, Bang! Gunship Elite is a fps with a 3Dish 1942 feel. You take control of a spaceship and blow **** up.

Gameplay: 1000000/10
If you read anything in my review, read this. The gameplay is amazing. This game takes you way back to the days of classic gaming. Main point of this game, fly around space and blow up ****, it dosnt get any better then that. None of that new aged gaming crap, just pure video gaming fun.

Graphics: 7/10
The Graphics of this game are awesome, the enemys look cool, your ship looks sweet, and the backgrounds are amazing. As you may have guessed this game takes place in space, and the backgrounds are unbelieveable, makes real space look like fake. Makes you want to take a time out and just admire the scenery.

Dificulty: 10/10
Simply put this game is hard, nuff said.

Replay Value: 8/10
This is one game that your not gonna put down, no matter how many times you play thought it. Only falt is the absence of a multiplayer system.

Plot: 6/10
Personally I dont give a damm about plot, but for those of you who do I thought I review it anyways. The entire game is based around some war between the alliance of your species and your two allies, and some other people. The war itself revolves around the minning of some sorta space ore. Kinda lack luster huh?

Control: 8/10
The control is a little annoying at first, its one of the space ship - flying games where on the analog controls up means down and down means up. You get use to it, but the first few games are a little hard to control. Apart from that its perfect, the options let you assign any value to any button you want, so you get to decide what the controls are like

Realism: 10/10
This is something that deserves bonous points. As previously mentioned the background and enemy images are amazing, in addition the space ship your flying is totaly cool. The weapons, the radar, the shield and health system, the feel of the game is unimaginable real. In addition your ship has a cool computer system that uses details like targeting, radar, electronics, and weapon malfunctions.

Overall: 9/10
If you want a video game with hyper realistic movie scenes, a grade A plot, and tons of mini games and variations, buy a PS2. If you want great old sk00l video game, where you get to drive a space ship and blow things up this is the game for you. Spaceships and explosions, this is what video gamings all about.
