Psychic Force 2012

"A unique game, that at least any one who is a fan of the fighting type anime should give a try!"

Okay I'll start off just by saying that this game will consume your time if you let it, sure some things are sort of tedious to get. But its all worth while, and I'm sure you'll have lots of fun playing this with your friends(Just don't be cheap like some people I know -_-) Now then on with the review.

Story:Its about a bunch of psychics who are in the middle of a war or something and they fight each other for various reasons(Thats at least all I can remember) It was a fairly good story and entertaining, But why would i psychic hunt a psychic my friend asked me, and I don't know cause that's how they get their jollies.

Graphics:These were pretty good for what they were going for, they look like anime characters, along with the fact that the attacks look like something that came out of one, The good ol crazy stuff we have come to love from fighting games.

Sound:It is pretty good, aside from the music, why would nice and clear elevator music be playing while your in a heated battle against someone your trying to kill?!?! I suggest you turn it off and listen to some of your own tunes. But the voices and attacks are all crystal clear.

Control:This is where it gets odd, The controls will flip all over which at times can be annoying, but After a few try's you'll get used to it, and won't mind it one bit. But for those who just want to play and don't want to get used to anything look somewhere else in this department, but the controls did give some good feeling to the game. You have two main buttons you'll use, Y=light attack, and B=strong, so you can imagine the attacks are easy to do, and don't take much knowledge to do for any of the characters. What would you expect your flying around in a psychic cube. They couldn't make them to complex.

Reply value:Its there you just have to find it, If you let your friends be extremely cheap and use the strong attacks all the time from a distance, then this game won't last to long in your dreamcast, but if you let them learn the moves, and practice a bit. Also threating them that if they do that your gonna rip their thumb off. As well to that taking the time to unlock the secrets which do take a lot of time, Will for the most part make everything worth while.

Conclusion: Well this is one of the funnest unique fighting games I have played in a while, aside from Dragonball z Legends(If you have the money and a saturn or psx then import it and give it a try). If you happen to find this game get it you might like it, if not meh you just scored yourself a another for your DC game library, Just don't let the cheapos rain supreme in the game. Peace.
