"Possibly the best Football game ever!"

Among the hundreds, and hundreds of football games. In my mind, one football game easily stands out, and this game is NFL 2k. You probably ask, why this game of all the other ones? Well, in this review I will explain why this football game should be your choice. This review will focus mainly on one major subject (unlike my other reviews.)

GAME PLAY 10/10
Absolutely awesome! I must address this before I go any further in the review. This game is one of the funniest, and longest lasting football games ever. I've always been a fan of football games, but as said before, this one is much different. One thing that really stands out is the modes. You get so many compared to other ones. Ones from practicing your team, wither it's a scrimmage, or your just practicing throwing and scoring with your team. This type of mode I don't really see too much, usually only in basketball games. You can create a player, and the newly raising; create a team mode, which is awesome, for taking your team into a season and winning the super bowl. The game is also very flexible with your team people. You can have the whole team full of the same people! Plenty of modes to actually play a game, such as a quick start (random teams), to Fantasy drafts, to play-offs, to tourney, to a simple Exhibition. The announcers are very life-like, and announce plays as they come along. Even a woman announcing what the team coach thinks at half time! A new great addition is VMU Plays, which allows you to select a play from the VMU unit, if your friend sometimes mimics your moves. Graphics are great on this game as well, and the Action Replays are well done, to show an awesome move. I haven't even found any glitches! Which also makes this get a 10.

Recommendations
Well, What can I recommend? This game should be your football game, but, this review was written long after the game came out, so if you enjoy this game, get NFL 2K1, or NFL 2k2, and wow, even NFL 2k3 coming out for PS2 and Xbox. Got some picks in head of you, if you liked this game!

Final Word
If your looking for a football game that is much different from all other games, consider this one greatly. Modes are very varied on this one, which makes the replay ability very high. If you want to give a football game a try, pick this one up from the rental shelves, if you want a new football game to play around with, definitely consider this one! It’s well worth your time.
