Time Stalkers

"A good game but nothing to do after you beat it."

I thought that this game was pretty good when I first started playing it. It has nice graphics, a large environment and some interesting characters. But I don't think that it's perfect. Well, lets get started with the review shall we?

Graphics-7/10
Why only a 7. While the character animations are pretty good, There aren't any facial expressions. The characters always have that same look on there faces and that kind of gets to you after a while of playing. There is also some slowdown in certain parts of the game which I personally think is inexcusable. The environment is however, very well done and that helped the score in this area out a bit.

Sound/music 7/10
The music is pretty good but it can get repetitive. I think that they should have added more music tracks to this game. The sound effects are standard whack and stab manner, nothing special here. When the new dungeons appear they make a pretty good sound affect so that's a plus. There isn't any spoken dialogue, It's all in text format which is a bit of a bummer. I would have enjoyed it a little better if the characters actually had voices in this game. Oh well.

Gameplay-8/10
The gameplay is pretty good. You basically defeat the different bosses of the dungeons in the game to advance the storyline, which is pretty well done. The bosses can be get a little tricky to beat though. I will just say that you'll be surprised by some of the things that a few bosses will throw at you.

Replayability 5/10
This game took a bit of a beating here. The randomly generated dungeons and the different sub quest were supposed to help out in this area but it didn't. The dungeons always seem to look the same to me and the sub quest can get a little stale after a while. There are a couple of secrets that in the game but they don't add much to the replay value.

Over all review 7/10
This isn't a bad game but it isn't a particularly good game either. It's basically an average game and is not for everyone.

RENT OR BUY
I think that you should rent this game before you buy it. It's a good game but like I mentioned above it isn't for everyone. So do like I always do and try it before you buy it.
