Marvel vs. Capcom

"As far as 2D fighters go, it just doesn't get much better than this"

For a 2D fighter it's very good. Unfortunately some problems in control like no analog support and some VERY easy or VERY hard combos.

Sound 6/10

After the many battle cries of "hi oken!" and the cry of Furr in Purr, the sound becomes somewhat boring. The in game music isn't too great, but no one can forget the famed " charector Select screen" and its AMAZINGLY mind numbing music. Some of the explosions and projectiles are nice souding but all in all, not a worthy opponent for MGS or FF8.

Graphics 9/10

Even for a animated game, this had AMAZING graphics. There was NO slowdown, even in the cross-fever mode. The animation of the actual charectors was great and must have been very high-res for such little pixelation.

Replay 7/10

No fighting game can have high replay value, exept in VS mode, and even then, I tire of it. Thats it, it's just not fun anymore.

Gameplay 10/10

This game was FAST, fun and strange. It deserves a 10 for gameplay, but sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. (try turning it up to turbo speed!) Some of the hyper combos are so stupidly funny they make you fall out of your seat.

Conclution: If you like 2D fighters, pick this up, because its WIERD!
