The House of the Dead 2
Review by CloudHG
"This piece of crap isn't the must have everybody is raving about."
The first time I put HOTD2 in my beatiful Dreamcast, I loved it. With or without the gun(get the gun if you're going to keep this thrash), it was a whole lot of fun. I tried and tried to beat original mode, always dying near the end of the game. One day, I just decided that I was going to beat the hell out of this game. So I did. That must must of been the most fun I've ever had with a video gmae in quite a while.
So why did this game get a three, you ask? If you really want to know, get ready for a long list...
First off, the game lasts half an hour, if you suck at it. Multiple endings were added, but they just piss you off, lasting about 10 seconds each. To make up for the thirty minutes, Sega decided to make some special mode that makes the game extremely easy, giving you a shotgun and instant kill bullets. This may be great to all those people stuggling with the game, but those people probably won't even find the often well hidden bonuses. The music is extremely annoying, using the same, minute track over and over. The replay value is low as well, even if you take different paths, because you're still shooting the same thing over and over.
If you like games that last two days, buy this brilliant piece of garbage that will cost you 80 bucks because it's funner with the gun.
If on, the other hand, you want a long lasting and always fun to play game, go get something else.
