Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2

"PSO fans get more for a price!"

Phantasy Star Online has to be one of the Dreamcast's best games. It is the first online console RPG and thousands of players enjoy the game. Now that cheating has been going crazy, Sonic Team decided to do something about it. They wanted to help stop cheating. Version 2 also provides a lot of great features for the PSO gamers.

CHALLENGE MODE:
Your character will start off as level 1 (even if your a high level character, but you don't lose your level) and you team up with gamers and fight. You can only die once or you will probably be in trouble. This really is a challenge and it requires a whole lot of work as a team. But if you have people who are willing to work as a team, this mode can be really addictive.

BATTLE MODE:
Since PSO players have wanted it so bad, you can now fight them. You can start a battle game and fight other players. There are many different types of games you can play on battle mode. I can't even remember them all, but this mode will keep you busy if your just tired of killing a few enemies and need a break. Lag does get in the way a little bit, but it doesn't totally effect the game.

ULTIMATE DIFFICULTY:
This difficulty is after very hard and this mode is extremely difficult. You can collect a lot of EXP, but the battles to kill monsters are a whole lot harder and take a whole lot longer. With the ultimate mode, you can now reach level 200 instead of level 100 like on the regular Phantasy Star Online.

LOBBY SOCCER:
If you get a little bored, you can play a little lobby soccer. There are many different types of balls you can use when you play lobby soccer and it plays rather smooth. This feature is pretty fun if your bored.

OVERALL:
The game also features new rares. So now you can go rare hunting for new and better rares. It also includes a filter so all your hacked items will be filtered out. Good for the players who are legit, bad for the cheaters. All version 2 players names will come up as yellow, so it will be easy to set up a version 2 game. This game basically just adds PSO to something bigger. It gives players more options to do and more rares to hunt. I would recommend this for any PSO player who really enjoys the game.
