"Action/Adventure RPG at its best"

Before I purchased this game I heard very little about it. So I looked into it. It is a Japanese style action RPG. Silver is a unique Dreamcast title that is availabe, and it a very enjoyable experience for anying that is interested in playing an action, adventure, or RPG. The game is played in real time combat, that fits this games storyline and concept perfectly. Becuase of this Silver exceeds in every way.

Gameplay: 10/10

The gameplay and combat in this game is very hard to handle at first. However in time, it will come to understanding that real time action really works in this Action RPG. The characters all move and combat well. It is also great to be able to play as the several other characters, instead of just playing as the main character like many other RPG's. It is also a good length game.

Graphics: 10/10

This game features great looking backgrounds and everything is displayed in High Resolution. However the one flaw is that the character models are very small and hard to see. Spells, weapons, items, backgrounds, and characters look amazing. This games graphics are like that of FF7 except, bumped up to 128 bit standards. I especially like how when you equip a different item, it is visibly clear, and the amount of attention paid to each detail of the game is amazing.

Sound: 10/10

Well this gets a perfect score because its award winning and when you play it you will see that the soundtrack is excellent. But the best part of this game is that all the speech and story is speech. Yes, no text if you don't want any. However if you prefer speech you have the option of turning speech on and off, and even turning text on or off. So you can't possibly ask for anymore in the sound department.

Story: 10/10

The story is classic. You are a hero forced to do battle and stop an evil sorcerer from releasing his evil over the land of Jarrah.

Overall: 10/10

This gets a 9 out of ten because this game doesn't exactly keep you on the edge of your feet. Nonetheless its an excellent RPG if you enjoy any action game and its inspirational story will keep you hooked. And since it sells for an affordable price, I highly recommend the purchase. This is a must own RPG for any dreamcast ownver, because of its price and originality. And its this originality that makes this game so fun to play. If you prefer more mainstream games, this game also has elements that will interest you. And since its as cheap to buy as a rental I recommend picking it up if you see it.
