Sega Bass Fishing

"Fishing was never this real!!!"

This is a cool fishing game. You can catch small 1lb fish or hudge 25lb fish. This is the most realistic fishing game ever. There are rocks uoder water kelp and all kinds of stuff. If you get this game get the sega fishing controller it is really cool. It has a built in rumble pack but no where to put a memory card. So you have to have another controller plugged into B. This is a 1 player game which kind of takes the fun out of the game they could have possibly added a 2 player match to see who could catch the most weight of fish. Everything in this game is very sharp its great. The graphics are smooth and the sounds and music sound great but seem to lack some stuff.

GAMEPLAY **10**

You can loose the fish if the tension is too high. You just have to push a button to reel the line in. You have to move a cursor over the water and press a button and it casts it out. The tension thing is a real nice thing to make it just like the real thing. I got the Fishing controller for this game and the game is even better. The fishing controller works great with this game and the built in rumble pack makes it nice so you know when you got a fish. Although the Dreamcast controller works just fine the Fishing controller works even better to make it like the real thing.

SOUND / MUSIC **8**

There really isn’t much sound to this game. What sound there is sounds good. The fishers will say something when you catch a big, hudge, small fish. Theres not a whole lot of sounds in this game so keep your pants on. What sound there is, is great sounding. The music in this game sounds good and was wisely chosen for this game. All of the sounds and music in this game are very detailed and sound great but the game could use some more sounds. The voices of your fisherman are good sounding and are very detailed but you hear the same thing over and over and it kinda gets boring.

GRAPHICS / LEVEL DESIGN **9**

The fish look real the surroundins look real. This is the best graphical fishing game ever. The leves are well desiged. As you progress you will get new lures, which makes the game even funner. The graphics in this game are very sharp looking and smooth. Theres no problems with the graphics in this game. The levels are all very neat and go into great detail under the water. It would have been cool if there were things that your line could get snagged or caught up on and each time that happened you would like loose a pound from your total weight. It’s just a thougt.

REPLAYABILITY **8**

The tournamet mode is short only like 4 rounds. This game gets boring pretty fast. The game is very short and you can beat it in less than 10 minutes. The game is pretty fun to play just to see how many fish you can get but it gets boring fast. A very easy game to play. A 2 player mode would have been an awesome feature on this game that should have made it last quite a while long. Add a few more levels of play and you got your self a very good game. The game sufers in this section because the game is very easy. It’s fun but just not enough to give the game great replayability. Try to catch the hudge 25lb. Fish there easy as the little fish to get.

CHALLENGE **6**

This game provides no challenge at all. It’s a sinch to beat and it takes no time at all. Theres only like 4 levels of fishing to play through and you have to catch so much total weight of fish in the time allowed very simple. It’s pretty easy to catch the total weight of fish that they specify in their time limit, which makes the game super easy.

I have no idea. I wouldn’t buy it rent it. This game has its share of problems. Read the review you decide.
