ChuChu Rocket!

"Is this the game that stops the drought of quality Dreamcast games or another wasted dream?"

When I first heard about this game, the title scared me away. But when good reviews started popping up about the import version, I started reading previews and it sounded pretty fun. Then about a month ago I bought the demo disk for Sega Swirl , but there was also a demo of Chu Chu Rocket. Ener since then I've wanted to play this game really badly and finally I have. The story (Theres a story?) goes like this. There is a spaceport full of Chus (Space Mice). Then one day it gets swarmed by Kapu Kapus (Space Cats). The chus want to get off but they don't know which rocket to go in. It is up to you to guide them to the rocket of your color by using 4 different directions of arrows avoiding cats, holes, and other rockets.

Graphics 7 out of 10- Pretty simplistic graphics but the frame rate never drops. Lag is different though on online play.

Sound 8 out of 10- Some of the songs are catchy, but when playing this game you can't hear anything over your friends screaming over CAT MANIA.

Gameplay 10 out of 10- This is one of the funnest games I have ever played. It is hard to describe how it is fun though. So go to a website and read a preview or review about it. On to the next section.

Replayability 10 out of 10- This game has come packed with modes. Here they are: 1-4 player game, 1-2 player stage challenge, 1 player puzzle mode, puzzle edit, 1-4 player network, and homepage. With all those modes, especially Network, you will be playing for awhile.
