Resident Evil Code: Veronica

"Scary & Confusing"

I got Resident Evil Code Veronica the first day it was available. When I first started I though the game was hard. But when I finially beat Clare's disk, I realized it was just confusing.

Gameplay:7:I think the game play was good, but lacking in weapons and ammo. I think that ammo cuts down by twenty five percent, from Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 2. I have played the Japaniese version of the game and it was great in Japaniese(but I couldn't understand the writing. Good thing my friend could)and the Japiniese game just had a petter touch to it.

Sound:9:I have to admit, the sound is great. The moans and groans sound real, and the talking sounds like real people are talking. Their is only one thing which gives it a nine. The bats screatching could be improved by 90%. But still the sound is very good.

Graphics:10:Since the game takes place at night, I think Capcom did a pretty good job. The opeaning into is sort of out of hand. At one point, it felt like I was watching the Matrix all over again, but the graphics are just plain amazing. I ave never seen graphics like this, in this type of situation.

Replayability:4:If you replay the game just for the purpos of playing it again, it looses it's fun. If you were playing to get a better rank, then I can understand, but just replaying it, takes all the fun out of it. Clare's disk again would drive me crazy, with the beginning setting, in the graveyard, in the courtyard. I just don't think it's worth replaying.

Overall:7:I give it a seven, because I honestly don't like playing it as much as I like playing other games, but some things in the game are just plain great, and their is no way I can ever lower this grade. But, at most I think this game should get an eight.
