Sega Rally Championship 2

"One of the best racers to date"

After you've played this game for 15-20 minutes and get down the controllers, you will relize that this is an excellent racing game. While it may not look as good as R4(i love that game, so i may be biased), it is still a top-notch racer.

Gameplay 10

The gameplay in this is excellent, there are enough different modes to keep you busy for weeks on end. My favorite is competing in 10 year mode, and then when i finally get first to go rank myself worldwide on the web to see how i'm doing compared to the rest of the world(go to gamesages.com to find out about this).

Graphics 7

Graphics aren't that important in a game, but i don't think this game even goes near showing the full potential of what the dreamcast can do. And since this was my first dreamcast title, this is how my friends think all dreamcast games look. Don't get me wrong, this game looks good, and plays good, but it could have easily been made for playstation and maybe even saturn. And when you beat a year of 10 year mode, the ending sequence looks almost SNES-like, they could have made it look so much better, but it is still fun, so that is all that counts.

Controll 10

The controlling in this game is excellent. Since the trigger buttons are analog, you can just give your car a little gas, or floor it, which is something hard, if impossible, to do on any other system controller. And the way you can customize your car to fit any terrain was a very good touch.

Sound 8

At first, the guy telling you to take an "easy left maybe" will annoy you to death, but if you turn it off, you will miss it and you won't drive as well. I wish sega could have had a more soothing voice tell me what turns to make, but oh well.

Overall, this is a great game, buy it at once, because its good, and if you don't own a dreamcast, get R4, because its really good.
