"In the same vein as Resident Evil ,Blue Stinger makes an attempt at horror survival...."

Blue Stinger is an interesting game, due to it's similarities to Resident Evil, which is a first to Dreamcast. If you are new to importing games this game would be a good one to start out with, as all the diologue is spoken in english. (albeit broken) Very little translation is needed in this game to get through it. One major problem with this game is the horrible fixed camera angles. Sometimes a creature is attacking you and you can't get a good angle to shoot it. The weapons in this game are varied, there is a large selection of weapons at your disposel, and also 2 characters to choose from, who have their own nuique weapons. Not a game to break out at the party though, unlike most Dreamcast games, which are exciting to watch and include plenty of eye candy, Blue Stinger is a solo game which may dull the senses after a while which it's repetitive music. The backgrounds are beautiful but you will soon get bored of them after continuously backtracking through them all. The games difficulty level is pretty easy as you always have enough money on you to purchase health and most enemies can be killed with the axe or simple punches. The bosses are easy also but they take a ridiculous amount of hits to kill. Warning to all gamers that play this game: It's more of a scavenger hunt, searching the entire world for card keys then anything else..and you will get stuck and it may take you weeks to finally figure out what you need to get. The bottom line: If you are a gamer with patience and with a lot of time to kill give Blue Stinger a shot. If you are looking for high octane action or bone chilling thrills, look elsewhere, perhaps even Code Name: Veronica when it's released. Because Ghost and Ghouls will get your heart pounding before Blue Stinger will.
