Giant Gram: All Japan ProWrestling 2

"The best wrestling game ever? Yep, and its only in Japan for DC"

Do you have or plan to buy a dreamcast? Well if WWF attitude dosn't end up getting released for DC, then at least you can import this gem of a game. AJPW Giant Gram is the best wrestler i've ever played(and i've played near all of them). It looks so lifelike, and the japanese announcers get so excited, you can't help but laugh.

Graphics 10
Remember when you compared WCW vs NWO World Tour to Revenge? and there was a huge graphic differnce? Well the graphics in this game are so much more amazing than any WCW or WWF game that it makes me not capable of tolorating any other wrestling game. You can see there facial expressions when you are twisting their arm in various positions. A great feature is when you put someone in a submission hold, and while your holding it the screen turns whiter and whiter, and when its completely white, your opponent goes unconsious. It just looks and plays so smoothly its incredible.

Sound 10
Whenever you hear the japanese announcer go "ohhh D D T!" in his highest pitched voice, then you will know what this game's sound is like. It has constant comentary(but its in japanese, which makes it funnier). And when they scream and stuff, its just great.

Gameplay 11
The gameplay is what is most impressive about this game. Arcade mode is what i'm guessing is how this game plays in japanese arcades. Its very fun and relativily easy. Then there's tournament mode, where you face off against 15 wrestlers, which is fairly difficult. There is also a VS mode, a Watch mode, and a Build your own wrestler mode. The build your own wrestler mode is very nice, because you pick your wrestlers body style, you name your wrestler(with japanese characters) and then you dress your wrestler. That sounds pretty basic, but here's the best part. You have to train your wrestler with the other wrestlers in the league, like a mentor program, and they train your wrestler, make him stronger, and teach him their moves. Its really neat, and then, if you happen to live in japan, you can take your VMU to your local arcade and load up your own wrester. I wish they would put that much effort into american games(besides blitz). You could probably play this game for 200 hours strait, and then be warmed up.

Well, since this is the only DC wrestler i've ever played, compared to the current wrestling titles, this game is at least 10 times more graphically more impressive with dozens of moves that are japan-only moves. And if you aren't gonna buy this because you don't know any of the wrestlers, then don't fret, Vader is on this game along with 3 characters from Virtual Fighter, so you'll at least know a few. So if you own a imported dreamcast, or plan on modding your american one, get this game asap, because its the best wrestler you're gonna find for quite some time.
