"excellent game, but drags a little in single player"

In my opinion this is one of the best dreamcast games there is although it drops a few points in most categories, well just read my review.

Story -6/10- Not exactly a great story but it's pretty good, there is a wizard named sumner, and his brother, one day sumner's evil brother Garm(how many times has the evil wizard brother thing been done?) calls the ultimate evil, Skone, from the depths of hell, but Skorne is too powerful for Garm to control, and lucky old Garm get chucked out the window by big nasty, what a dumbass.

Gameplay -8/10- Pretty good although, you go around each level fighting monsters that regenerate constantly from different places you have to destroy these generators to stop the infinite flow of monsters, and when you reach the portal at the end you are transported back to the tower, at least it almost never gets boring.

Sound -4/10- Definatly one of the worst parts of the game, there is almost no sound, although it gets 3 points for having the original music when you are in the tower.

Graphics -9/10- The graphics are very nice, very detailed, and very colorful, nothin much more to say.

Dramcast Conversion -10/10- This is a perfect conversion from the arcade and it's way better than it's 64 and 32 bit cousins, if your looking for the closest to the arcade version, this is it.

Characters -9/10- The characters are great and all have their own personality, and there are even 4 new characters exclusive to the DC, what a wonderful thing.

Overall -8/10- Good game, but the single player gets boring bring over 3 friends and have an absolute blast!

Buy/Rent -Rent- This game just doesn't have enough for a purchase but if you have a bunch of freinds over you can have endless fun killing monsters together
