"The name should be Ready 2 Get Boring"

When I first saw Ready 2 Rumble Boxing I was like wow this game looks great. So when I bought my Dreamcast on 9/9/99 I decided to pick up Ready 2 Rumble Boxing with Sonic Adventure and NFL 2K. Ready 2 Rumble Boxing was fun for about two weeks. Then it started to get boring. It was kind of a waste of money but it's good I have it in my collection.

Gameplay: 7/10 - This game has barely any modes of play. It has 2 player and Championship mode. Championship mode is a bit easy. You have to win ten fights in the bronze class, then 10 in the silver class, and 10 in the gold class. Not that hard because you can train your boxer. The matches start to get really easy and it seems like it becomes a chore to beat the people. I decided to quit the championship mode in like 3 days. The two player mode is the only fun part of this game. But it takes you like 1 hour to learn all the special moves for your character.

Graphics - 10/10 - The graphics in this game are so nice and polished. The people look great, the boxing ring look great, and the announcer look great. This game has incredible graphics.

Sound - 10/10 - I love the sound in this game. The announcer sounds really nice and the boxers are really funny to listen to. The graphics and sound are the best thing in this game though.

Replay Value - 6/10 - The championship mode will get boring real fast. So the only good thing for this game is the multiplayer mode. If you are a only child or you don't have a lot of people to play games with, then I highly suggest you don't buy this game. The multiplayer mode is the only fun thing in this game.

Overall - 7/10 - If you are having a party or having a couple of friends over I highly suggest you rent this game. It's a great multiplayer game. But if you rarely have anyone over, I would skip this game and save your $50.00. I am happy I have this game in my collection though.
