Mega Man X2: System Diagnostic Test
Hold down A on player 2's controller while loading X2. Keep it held until a list appears onscreen; this is the "Cx4 Test", a developer's diagnostic tool leftover in the game. Unless you happen to have knowledge of game programming, very little in this menu is likely to make sense to you. Press any button to start the game.

Mega Man X5: Black Zero and X Ultimate Armor
First got to the character select screen. Highlight X. Press up twice and down 9 times. You will then unlock X's Ultimate Armor. To unlock Black Zero highlight him at the character select screnn and press down twice and up 9 times. That will unlock Zero's Black Armor.

In Mega Man X1, after defeating the final boss, wait around on the "Thanks for Playing!!" screen for about 45 seconds. At that time, the lights will dim and a TV will turn on in the background. It's a secret message from the recently departed final boss.

Beginning Mega Man X5 with X's Force Armor
Before each level in Mega Man X5, you're given a choice of which character to use. You only have X and Zero available to you at the start, though you can unlock a third character of sorts right when the game begins.
If you begin the game as X, you'll automatically unlock the Force Armor, a replica of a fully upgraded X from Mega Man X4, as being available to use in the game's levels. Given how difficult Mega Man X5 is, the Force Armor is a nice recourse to use should you ever get stuck -- though it's recommended that you only use the Force Armor if you're truly stuck, as it takes virtually all challenge out of a level when you decide to use it.

Get Ken's (Street Fighter) Uppercut in MMX2
The Capsule for this is located in Hunter Stage 3. When you see an area with spikes on the right and 2 stairs (one going down and the other going up), get a bat near there and use the Crystal shot to freeze the bat and get up there. Continue from there and when you fall down a pit, stay to the left to find the capsule.
You'll get Ken's uppercut IF you have gotten all Hearts, Armor parts and Sub-Tanks.
To do the uppercut Press Forward + Down + Forward + Fire.Contributed By: ThunderMan.
Mega Man X1: Zero's Buster
Zero's Buster is like the X-Buster Upgrade except that it is much easier to get. First, don't take the X-Buster Upgrade from Dr. Light's capsule. Head over to Sigma Stage 1 and go through it until you meet Zero and Vile. Kill Vile, and then walk over to Zero. He will give you his Z-Buster. This will allow you to charge to the pink level and also allow you to charge special weapons.

MegaMan's fireball in MMX1
Must have Heart Tanks, Sub-Tanks, enemy weapons, and power-ups. Then, go to Armored Armadillo\'s level. Reach the final mine cart, which makes you launch you through the air at the end of the level. Just before you reach the wall, jump up and climb the wall. At the top, there will be a large Energy Unit . Get it, and then jump into the pit and die. Repeat this step five times. On the fifth time through, a capsule will appear on that same ledge. Dr. Light will then give you a Ryu-style fireball for Mega Man to use.

X3 Gold Armor
In X3 get everything except any of the 4 upgrade chips, hearts sub-tanks power armors head leg arm and body parts, then in teh 1st Doppler stage down to where the spike balls fall(a bit after the mini boss) go down the first shaft and stay on the left wall. Theres a secret passage in the wall and if you have full health but I dont think full subtanks there will be a capsule where light gives you a chip that provides all 4 of the body chip effects, regen when standing still, a new weapon that lets you fire off fully charged shots for a bit, 2x air dashing and even better damage reduction.

Z-Sabre for X in MMX3
First you need to kill Vile who can be found in Volt Catfish, Crush Crawfish and Blizzard Buffalo's stage. You must kill him using Neon Tiger and Crush Crawfish's abilities.
Then, go to Doppler Fortress stage 2. Switch to Zero before going in the mini-boss fight and kill the Mini-boss with Zero. The mini-boss will weaken Zero and he will give X the Z-Sabre.
NOTE: There are 2 ways you can use the Z-Sabre... with or without the Arm part. If you have the Arm part, Getting the Z-Sabre will take a while but the Z-Sabre will throw a wind slash taking more than half a boss's energy. If you use it without the Arm part, will only have to get the Level 2 charge shot and then you'll glow green when you fire it the shot. Using the Z-Sabre with no Arm part will not create the Wind slash.

Glitches
Subtank Glitch
Get three sub-tanks and make sure one of your special weapons has less than full power. Then, with the weapon that has less than full power selected, grab a weapon capsule and immediately hit start. If you did it right, you'll have a fourth sub-tank. Fill it using the same method, just don't over fill or you'll delete it and your third one. It recovers health just like the a normal one.

Stage Secrets
Some stages are a little different if you beat a certain boss first. If you beat Chill Penguin, the Lava in Flame Mammoth's stage will be frozen. If you beat Storm Eagle, the lights in Spark Mandrill's stage will flicker on and off. If you beat Launch Octopus, Sting Chameleon's stage will be partially flooded.

Stronger normal shots
Dash while firing your uncharged X-Buster to cause the shot to deal double damage. This is useful when you don't have time to wait for a shot to charge.

Ken's Shoryuken!
Megaman can use Ken's Shoryuken if you get all of the energy tanks, all of the hearts, and all of X's parts. The capsule for the shoryuken is in the third x-hunter stage (Agile). At one point in his stage, there is a ladder with many bats around. Use the Crystal Hunter to crystalize a bat to reach the ladder. Follow the path until you reach a downward path. Scroll on the left side of the path until X discovers a passage. You must be at full power for the capsule to appear. Dr. Light will give you Ken's Shoryuken.

Glitches
Disappearing Enemies
This will work with almost any enemy that can be frozen with the Crystal Hunter. Freeze the enemy with a normal shot then pause the game. Now at the pause menu select the X. Buster and hit start. The enemy that was frozen will no longer be there.

Harmless Sigma/Red X-Buster
To do this trick, you must have all of Zero's parts and the Flaming Dragon Punch. First, go to the last Sigma stage. Right before you enter the room where Sigma drops in, stop. Dragon Punch your way in and try to land where Zero will punch his hole after the dialogue. If done correctly, X will fall through the hole when Zero punches it out. When Zero starts talking, do not let his dialogue disappear. Leave it there until X lands in Sigma's room. When Sigma enters, make Zero's dialogue go away and X should be able to walk over to Sigma. Have X stand right by Sigma, and when Sigma begins to fill up his energy meter, Dragon Punch him.
When the fight begins, Sigma should not be able to harm you no matter what he does, making it easy for you to conserve you SubTanks and energy for the second battle. Also, this glitch makes your charged shots look a vibrant reddish-pink color.
It will stay this way until the second Sigma battle begins. Also, using the Giga Crush causes your X-Buster shots to go back to their original color.

Alternate ending screens of Zero
If you don't collect all of Zero's parts and beat the game. You will see a black-armored Zero at the ''Thanks for playing!'' screen. But if you collect all of Zero's parts and beat the game, you will see the original Zero at the ''Thanks for playing!'' screen instead.

Secrets
Golden Armor
First, collect all of the Heart Tanks, Sub-Tanks, Ride Armors, and Armor parts, but DO NOT take one of the enhancement chips offered by the pink capsules. Head to Doppler Stage 1, and make sure you have full energy (use the Ride Armor if you think you won't be able to keep full energy). Somewhere in the stage, there will be some balls with spikes falling into a pit. Jump to the left side of the pit and you will go inside a secret room. Inside this room is a capsule that contains the Gold Armor. Like its name, this armor will turn X's suit a golden color, and it also gives him the abilities of all four enhancement chips.

X-Buster with Beam Sabre as final charge level
If you do the following, a green charge level will replace the red charge level of the X-Buster, which fires 2 charged shots and a beam sabre shot. The Beam Sabre will take away half of any given boss's health, including the Sigmas.
During the second stage of the Doppler fortress, switch to Zero. There is one gate that he can pass through: the one that leads to the mini-boss fight with the "bug." If Zero defeats the bug, it will fall on him and explode. X will teleport in, and Zero will pass the Beam Sabre to X before he dies. Note that this means that you cannot use Zero again, since he's dead.

Beginning the game with X's Force Armor
Before each level in Mega Man X5, you're given a choice of which character to use. You only have X and Zero available to you at the start, though you can unlock a third character of sorts right when the game begins.
If you begin the game as X, you'll automatically unlock the Force Armor, a replica of a fully upgraded X from Mega Man X4, as being available to use in the game's levels. Given how difficult Mega Man X5 is, the Force Armor is a nice recourse to use should you ever get stuck -- though it's recommended that you only use the Force Armor if you're truly stuck, as it takes virtually all challenge out of a level when you decide to use it.
