3.General Tips
===============================================================================
Missing Work
------------
You can miss one day off work and get away with a warning, if you miss the
second day you'll get fired. Note, in 'Get A Life' if you get fired its game
over but in 'Play The Sims' its ok, it just means you'll have no income.
My Sims so Tired
----------------
Sleep is very important to your Sims otherwise they'll be falling asleep all
over the place. There are two ways to keep your Sims happy with plenty of
energy. 1. Go to bed every night or day (Depending on your job). This includes
sleeping on a couch or 2. Buy an espresso machine and drink the espresso, the
caffeine will and add small amount of energy to your Sim. In the status box for
your Sim sleep is known as 'Energy'
Bug Zapper trick?
-----------------
Using the "bug zapper" for energy, Using the bug zapper (its big and green) You
can regain 9 hours sleep in under 2 hours! You must buy the zapper, switch it
on, and simply select "Touch". It shocks the sim, regaining their energy while
depleting their comfort. Using a Aromaster Whifferpuffer on the top setting,
and a comfortable chair, you can regain the entire comfort bar in seconds.

My Sim won't do a thing there always depressed!
-----------------------------------------------
In the bottom left corner of the screen there'll be a picture of the Sim you're
controlling, under that there is a line if its in the green you're Sim is
happy. If in the red he/she is depressed, meaning they won't do anything you
want such as study, or find a job. If its in the middle your Sim is OK. You can
tell how happy or sad your Sim is by the number or red or Green lines e.g. 4
lines your Sim is very happy, and 3 red lines mean your Sim is very annoyed.
The maximum is 4 bars either way.
Do you get Burglars?
--------------------
Yes burglars do rob you house so you need to take precautions. Install a
burglar alarm, they only cost $250 and if you place them at entrances to your
house any burglar entering your house will be arrested by the police. Burglary
isn't all bad, if you get robbed and catch him you'll get a reward for the
catching usually $1000 and insurance on anything he steals which is plenty
enough to buy back any thing which has been taken by the police for evidence.
Note you cannot I repeat you cannot put an alarm in your house when a burglar
arrives it prevents cheating. The same goes for Fires, no building or
replacing/moving items when an emergency takes place.
Can Fires start?
----------------
A Sim with no cooking skills will set the kitchen on fire, if you have an fire
alarm the firemen will be around right away. Like with Burglars you cannot move
furniture or build when there's an a emergency. The best thing to do is get
your Sim out of the room and let the fireman do it. You can and try and put it
out but if your Sim sets on fire he/she is dead! Another way Sims die by fire
is by having items in front of a fireplace, these will set on fire and the
whole room will go up along with your Sim. (It'll have a chain reaction with
other items in the room.)
Can I kill my Sim?
------------------
Yes Sims can die! Sims will die by the following reasons, neglect, Fire,
Drowning, electrocution and Building a wall around them. So if free will is on
don't worry about it, only you can choose if you want to kill your Sim. To burn
a Sim simply put objects in front of the fireplace, best to use a rug, tell
your Sim to light the fire and then the rug will catch fire killing your Sim.
If a Sim is killed, a tombstone or urn will be left in place, which other Sims
can mourn at, this will make them depressed and they will cry not a good thing
for their status. Note, ghosts can be seen wandering the house at night if a
Sim died there, usually 11:00pm to 12:00pm is the best chance to see a ghost.
Electrocution
-------------
If your Sim washes their hands or has a shower and then trys to replace a bulb,
or fix anything electrical, they will get electrocuted. In some cases it may
kill them.
The Grim Reaper!
----------------
If your Sim dies the Grim Reaper will arrive, if there's another Sim in the
house then that Sim can 'Plea' with the Grim Reaper to try and spare the dead
Sims life. They will play a game of rock, paper, scissors if you win he will
spare their life, if you lose he may turn them into a zombie, let them die, or
feel sad for you and bring them back to life.
Zombies!
--------
If the Grim Reaper turns your Sim into a Zombie there are a few changes that
will happen, they can never die, and they will look greenish, apart from that
they are just the same old Sim, they still can be controlled and still need the
same care as normal Sims.
What's 'Free Will'?
-------------------
Free Will is simply if you leave your Sim with no commands he or her will go
about their business on there own, you can let them do what they want or cancel
what there doing by pressing triangle. If a Sim has a list of commands they
must complete these before Free Will kicks in.
Marriage?
---------
Yes they can get married. Simply get their relationship high anywhere between
80 to 100, get your partner in a good mood (food, tele, hot tub etc.) then pop
the question if they say no try again and try and do what they say e.g. "I cant
think on a empty stomach" so give them a meal.
I fed my chosen partner, talked to her, danced with her, I brought a hot tub
earlier for $6500 and we got in, when she got out I selected propose (its
usually at the bottom of the menu) and then she said yes! It costs $1000 for a
wedding by the way.
How do I get Promoted?
----------------------
To get promoted simply go to work in a good mood that's by having the mood
meter in the green (2 usually does it), and have the required skills and number
of friends needed for a promotion.
I have all the Skill why aren't I getting Promoted?
---------------------------------------------------
Check there are no more skills need levelling up and make sure you have the
required number of friends, this can be done by pressing left on the D-PAD to
show the job panel. There it'll show what job you have and next to it a smiley
face with a number next to it e.g. 3/4 that means you have 3 friends out of the
4 required for a promotion. So get another friend and this'll go up to 4/4
meaning promotion is possible.
Where's the Life of Crime career?
---------------------------------
You need to catch a burglar in 'Get A Life' to unlock the Life Of Crime Career
for 'GAL' and 'Play The Sims' it doesn't count if you catch one in 'Play The
Sims' all you get is a reward.
Work from home?
---------------
You can by buying a KraftKing Woodworking Table it cost $750 and each gnome you
make can be sold. The higher your Mechanical Skill the quicker you can make
themand the more you get for each one. To sell one go to buy mode, move the
cursor over the gnome and press Square. The most you can sell a Gnome is 100
Simoleons. But bear in mind while making them your Sim will become tired and
may be in a bad mood after. I recommend getting to level 10 of your chosen
career then working from home this way you'll have a lot of money and your
skills will be high. You can earn a lot of money from this career if your
Skills are high. You can also work from home by making and selling statues.
How do I get abducted?
----------------------
Use a telescope to get abducted but it can have bad effects on your Sim. Their
stats will change e.g. a very tidy Sim could get abducted and return a very
messy Sim so use at your own risk. The plus side is while waiting to get
abducted your Sim will earn Logic Points.
How do I unlock character skins?
--------------------------------
Complete all of 'Get a Life' or whoever you make friends with (have more than
50 friendship points) you'll unlock their special clothes/hairdos. Or use
cheats.
How do my Sims have a baby?
---------------------------
Your Sims can have a baby by selecting the 'Play' option while either in a
Vibromatic Heart Bed or the Libidenx Spa System some time after a baby will
arrive which you can name. The baby will grow into a child within 3 Sim days.
(Only a male and female Sim can have a child via this way.)
My baby was taken away!
-----------------------
If you don't look after a baby well or simply its your first time looking after
a baby and fail to do well, Social Services will take the baby away. Even if
you 1. Try and build a wall around the Social Worker she will teleport away and
2. Building a wall around the baby wont work either, it'll again teleport away.
Also babies are fireproof.
What's the wall glitch?
-----------------------
More of a cheat really, make a wall as long as you can diagonally is best, if
there's something in the way a regular straight wall will do. Put the most
expensive wallpaper ("New Light" Wall treatment.) on both sides then go into
buy mode, highlight the wall and hit the sell button (Square) and keep pressing
it really quickly. If you've done it right the wall won't disappear and you're
money will go up with each press of the square button. Repeat until bored.
Why can't I put any more furniture in my house?
-----------------------------------------------
Press start to go into the main menu, on the right there is a house symbol and
a bar (Like a thermometer) once this fills up you can not buy anymore furniture
(Due to memory). Hint: if it is at full don't worry say you have a normal cheap
item save your money up and buy a better quality item, not only does this allow
you to buy the better items but these better items improve your Sims stats more
than cheap average item. I'd also rather have a house full of top quality items
rather than hundreds of rubbish items.
How can I see all my friends I've ever met?
-------------------------------------------
Go into the friendship bar then press the right analogue stick to the right,
it'll show all the people you have ever interacted with. By pressing X you can
get some info about them.
The wallpaper is on the wrong side of the wall!
-----------------------------------------------
When applying wallpaper or wall treatment by pressing R2 it will swap the side
of the wall that it can go on.
How to get the best out the 'Aromaster Whifferpuff Gold'
-------------------------------------------------------
The Aromaster Whifferpuff Gold costs $2500 and is a very useful item, even
though it breaks often and its the 2nd item a thief will go for its still a
very useful and helpful item for your Sims needs. It has four settings;
Peppermint and Juniper : Increases : Comfort
Lavender and Majoram : Increases : Fun
Juniper and Rosemary : Increases : Energy
Rosemary and Peppermint : Increases : Room
Each setting you choose will increase each of the statuses, you can use
multiple Aromaster Whifferpuffers at time. The best way to use it is before you
go to sleep put it on the 2nd setting and when you awake your Sim will be in a
very good mood, at least 3 green bars as he/she has a full energy bar and a
full fun bar.
Alarm Clock
-----------
A very basic a simple item, but its very useful, buy an alarm clock from the
miscellaneous section of the buy mode and you wont regret it. Set the alarm
before you go to sleep and it will go off before the carpool arrives, giving
you plenty of time to eat, pee, and wash.

Accidents
---------
"Just in case you wanted to know, sometimes when getting home from work, it
may have a random message saying that you had a random accident and lost some
random skill points."
Contributed By: Hawkeye05
E.g. "You fell off the trampoline in trainning. Minus 1 body point"
===============================================================================
4. Creating A Sim/Family
===============================================================================
To make A Family to add to your neighbourhood in 'Play the Sims' on the
neighbourhood screen press the O button then select 'New Family, you will be
given the option to create your family. Select 'new' and you will be presented
with four options, Personal, Body, Head, Done.
Personal
--------
In personal you can choose if your Sim is male or female, an adult or a child.
Note in GAL you can only have an adult Sim but can still choose all the other
'create a Sim' options.
Messy-Neat
----------
The more points in this the neater your Sim will be, E.G they will be more
likely to tidy up after themselves. The lower this the messy your Sim will be,
E.G. they will be more likely to drop litter after themselves.
Shy-Outgoing
------------
The more points in this the more a Sim will like socialising with other Sims
and the quicker there social will drop if they are alone. The lower this the
slower a shy Sims social bar will drop, it will also mean they will not mind
being on there own for a long time.
Lazy-Active
-----------
The more points in this the more active your Sim will be E.G. they will be a
lot quicker at getting out of bed and enjoy playing physical sports. The lower
this the slower they will get out of bed and they will not enjoy getting sweaty.
Serious-Playful
---------------
The higher this the more playful your Sim will be E.G. they will enjoy playing
group games and enjoy playing computer games. The lower this the less they will
enjoy games and will much prefer reading a book.
Mean-Nice
---------
The higher this the Nicer your Sim will be E.G. they will be kind and sociable
with other Sims, the lower this is the meaner they will be E.G. they will be
nasty and unsociable to other Sims.
Star Signs
----------
Your Sims star sign will affect them a great deal. By choosing your Sims star
sign in the personal section it will determine what there personality is like.
You can manually determine what your Sims personality is like by manually
inputting the personality points, note you only have 25 so once all 25 have
been used you can fill in no more bars. Even manually inputting points will
still give your Sim a star sign.
Star Signs effect how your Sim behaves to other Sims and what they are like as
a person.
These are the personality points if you choose a set star sign.

===============================================================================
5. Skills
===============================================================================
Note. As you get promotion jobs will require you to get more Skills these will
be highlighted in yellow and once you have them go to work in a good mood and
you'll be promoted.
Cooking
-------
Increase this by reading cookbooks from a bookshelf. They higher the more it
will satisfy your Sims Hunger.
Mechanical
----------
Increase this by reading Mechanical books from the bookshelf, or the practical
way the KraftKing Woodworking Table. (These can be sold for Simoleons, the
higher the Mechanical Skill the more you can sell them for and the quicker the
can be made.
Creative
--------
This can be increased by the following, by playing the piano or guitar or
painting and sculpting. (The paintings can be sold too, the higher the creative
the more Simoloens you can get)
Body
----
Some jobs require you to be fit here's how to get in shape. You can get fit by
swimming, a running machine, or a bench press. (Running machine seems to be
best.)
Logic
-----
Don't want dumb Sims do you so get some Logic into them by playing Chess,
or using a telescope. Warning Telescope causes abduction.
Charisma
--------
Some jobs require your Sim to communicate so use any mirror to practice speeches
to increase charisma.
===============================================================================
6. Sims Needs
===============================================================================
Hunger
------
Satisfy this need by eating. Either by cooking your own food or calling the
Pizza delivery guy (costs $40). The better your fridge the more it will satisfy
your Sims hunger also the type of oven you use. Even how you prepare it e.g.
using a food processor will increase the hunger bar more than if your Sim cut
it by hand, its also quicker. Also prepare food on a kitchen counter not a
dishwasher etc or this will lower how much it satisfies your Sims hunger.
Energy
------
Three ways to increase energy are sleep, coffee/espresso, and the bug zapper
trick. The better your bed the more you energy will be increased also the
better your espresso machine the more the energy bar will rise. Note coffee is
quicker to drink yet adds less energy.
Bladder
-------
If you don't use a toilet before this bar empties away your Sim will pee on
the floor immediately lowering your hygiene bar into the red. Note after peeing
on the floor you will have full bladder yet empty hygiene. Both toliets empty
the bladder fully but the Flush Force XLT is better as it will raise comfort
along with bladder and on the plus side it has auto-flush but the down side is
the price but its well worth it.
Fun
---
Sims are unhappy if they are bored, so keep their lives fun. Keep your Sims fun
bar up by watching the T.V, reading, dancing etc... Your Sims personality will
effect how much their fun bar goes up e.g. a serious Sim will get more fun out
of a book than a T.V. A wide screen T.V. will increase fun more than a black
and white one.
Social
------
Sims need friends. To increase this bar make sure your Sim has social
interactions. A shy Sim's bar will drop slower than an outgoing Sim's and vice
versa. Kissing and Hugging will increase the social bar more than just talking
but if you don't know the Sim enough these actions will have the opposite effect
and cause it to drop.
Comfort
-------
Sims need to be comfortably if there not they become moody. A hard cheap chair
will have no effect on this bar yet an expensive soft high quality chair will
cause it to rise, so the more $ you pay the more this will rise. Don't raise
this bar on its on e.g. don't just sit on a chair, then eat, while
eating/watching a T.V this bar will increase.
Hygiene
-------
How clean is your Sim? Raise this by having daily showers/baths and wash hands
after using the toilet. This drops fully if your Sim wets there pants. Eating
snacks lowers this bar too.
Room
----
How clean is your Room? A dark room lowers this so does a dirty room. So to
keep this high have windows/lights and tidy your Sims rooms! Note if your Sim
has a night/ early morning job then when they leave there house their room
rating will drop so have garden lights outside to stop this from ruining your
chances of promotion.
===============================================================================
7. Careers
===============================================================================
Find these jobs in either a newspaper or PC. Jobs are needed for money and
without money you can't buy furniture and food and with no furniture or food it
means some very hunger and very sad Sims. You can get the following jobs in
order to get money known as 'Simoleons'.
Jobs have advantages and disadvantages so don't just take the job which pays
the most. A job with a high pay may require more friends skills and longer
working hours than a job with lower pay, less friends and easier skills to
obtain, so choose wisely.
Friends Needed for a promotion will be displayed under the career menu. To
access the Career menu press left on the D-pad.

8.Play The Sims
===============================================================================
All of the above applies to Play the Sims. There is no goal for 'Play the Sims'
what you do is simply make a neighbourhood, build their houses, create a family,
move them in and then control there lives. Be as imaginative as you can create
your family and freinds, create celebrities, create games characters its really
all up to you. Note. just because you left a house and the time was 12.00 it
doesn't mean the next house you go in will be 12.00 each time you leave a house
the time freezes, the same goes for jobs if a Sim in a house works from 8.00 to
12.00 and your Sim phones up they will not be in because they are in work. I
can't really help you in 'Play the Sims' you'll just need to learn from GAL and
the information above.
'Play The Sims' has no goals its open ended game play, so it never ends.
To unlock 'Play the Sims' you must beat 'Dream House' in GAL.
===============================================================================
9. Get A Life (GAL)
===============================================================================
This is the walkthrough for 'Get A life' mode. I've put the goals in order in
which it is advisable or necessary to do.
===============================================================================
Money From Mom
===============================================================================
--- Goals ---
Borrow $800 from Mom
--------------------
Easy. Talk to your mom a bit, and rub her back etc. Get her in a good mood and
then ask her. Once she gives you some money, talk to her and then ask again.
Repeat until the goal is complete. Another way is to sell the grandfather
clock, either way will do.
Unlocks: 'The Museum' two player game.
Cook dinner without starting a fire
-----------------------------------
Go to the bookshelf and select a cookbook. Your Sim will start studying about
cooking, get at least 1 cooking skill before attempting to cook, otherwise you
will burn the house down. Make sure you Sim is in a good mood (Mood bar in the
green) otherwise they'll refuse to study.
Unlocks: Aromaster Whifferpuff Gold
Fix the TV
----------
Go to the bookshelf again, but this time study mechanical, get 1 point minimum
or 2 if you want to fix it quicker and then repair the TV.
Unlocks: CharisMaster Vanity Mirror.
Get a job
---------
Pick up the paper which is delivered each morning out on the lawn and choose
a job. If there's not one that you fancy, wait until the next day for another
job.
Unlocks: PerspirAction Executive Treadmill
<<< Bonuses >>>
---------------
Unlock: Beejaphone Guitar
Leave the house in 24 hours or less.
Note. Don't forget to pay the bills every 3 days. Bills are put in the letter
box and if these aren't payed the repo men will come and take some of your
furniture to pay off the bills.
===============================================================================
Reality Bites
===============================================================================
--- Goals ---
Clean the place up.
------------------
Clean up all the ash and rubbish that is lying around and unblock the toilet
too. You can re-build the kitchen wall if you want to. (Not needed to complete
this goal).
Unlocks: Maid (Service)
Fix the broken stuff.
--------------------
Get another mechanical skill point then attempt to fix the TV, computer,
espresso machine and finally unblock the toilet.
Unlocks: Repairman (Service)
Upgrade your abode, when you go to buy mode.
-------------------------------------------
You need to add value to the house by buying stuff, however by repairing stuff
value is added to the house so you only need to add another $250 if you repair
the broken goods.
Unlocks: Electronic Insect Control System
Get promoted to career level 2.
------------------------------
Whatever career you've chosen you need to get promoted. Check your skills and
see if any need increasing, you may also need a certain number of friends so
make sure your Sim is sociable, then go to work in a good mood and when they
return they'll be promoted. If this doesn't work, try again the next day.
Unlocks: Slurp 'N' Burp Beverage Cooler.
Get promoted to career Level 3.
------------------------------
Same as above, check your skills and number of friends required then go to work
in a good mood.
Unlocks: Teppan'Yaki Table.
Complete all goals so you can move out.
-------------------------------------
Once you've completed all the goals Dudley or Mimi will ask you to live with
them.
Unlocks: 'The Frat House' two player game.
<<< Bonuses >>>
---------------
Unlock: Coat of Arms
Leave the house in four days or less.
Unlock: Purple Skirt
Make friends with Pauline Peacock
Unlock: Purple Trousers
Make friends with Pierre Peacock.
===============================================================================
Party Animals
===============================================================================
--- Goals ---
Get promoted to career level 4.
------------------------------
Same as always, upgrade your skills in the yellow and make the necessary amount
of friends. You can also get Dudley or Mimi promoted if you send them to work
in a good mood, you can't however upgrade their Skills.
Unlocks: Strip Poker Table.
Get promoted to career level 5.
------------------------------
Improve skills and make friends, you get the picture now? Go to work in a
good mood. If this fails, repeat.
Unlocks: Libidinex Spa System.
Upgrade your abode, when you go to buy mode.
-------------------------------------------
You need to add $1500 Simoleons to the house so try and buy things which will
entertain your guest when you throw a party.
Unlocks: SweetsWay Tree Swing.
Throw a ragging party. (Many people struggle on this)
---------------------
Its best to start the party near lunchtime that way the guest will not become
tired and the cops won't show up. Go to the phone and select the 'Throw party'
option as soon as you've done that order a pizza. Make sure Dudley/Mimi is home
for the party, as they can be cooking burgers on the grill while you chat with
the guests. I found it easy to get a 'ragging party' by buying a second hot tub
and putting it in the house with the other one then turning up the music and
finally chatting to your guests. My party 'rocked' and this was good enough to
pass the goal.
Move out with one of Dudley's friends at the party.
--------------------------------------------------
Once you've thrown a 'raging party' choose who you like to be flatmates with
and ask them, you can invite them around before the party to increase
friendship points. Make sure there happy and that your Sim is in a good mood
too. You can't ask someone who is married so ignore those who already have a
partner.

Hot to Trot
===============================================================================
--- Goals ---
Get promoted to career level 6.
------------------------------
Keep improving the required skills and making friends, also don't forget to
send your Sims to work in a good mood.
Unlocks: Sonic Shower
Get promoted to career level 7.
------------------------------
You will need to have quite high skills and more friends than the last
promotion. (Even if you don't need friends make friends as it'll be easier
later on). To help get promoted have your room mate clean up the place,
tidy it up and generally look after the house so your Sim can spend as much
time as they can getting their skills up and managing a day job.
Unlocks: Artists' Block
Upgrade your abode, when you go to buy mode.
-------------------------------------------
You again need to add value to the house, this time $2500 so buy anything which
will make your Sims life better.
Unlocks: The Vibromatic Heart Bed
Throw a ragging party.
---------------------
As for the last party there needs to be music, stuff for your guests to do and
lots of food. Also make sure your flatmate is there to cook while you mingle
and ensure your Sim is in a good mood before it begins.
Unlocks: 'Club Abhi' and 'Taylors Place' two player games.
Try and 'score' with a party guest.
----------------------------------
Its best before the party to choose your 'victim' and become good friends with
them. I also recommend you get your relationship in the 80's + before popping
the question, if the refuse just talk to them a bit more then ask again. Make
sure they aren't married either.
Congratulations your now married and ready to move into your new house.

Who Love Ya Baby
===============================================================================
This house rocks its got lots of 'junk' in a room so use this 'junk' to
decorate your house.
--- Goals ---
Get promoted to career level 8.
------------------------------
You will need to spend a lot more time making friends (Use your partner for
this) and developing skills. Same as always send them to work in a good mood
with all the requirements and hope for a promotion.
Unlocks: 'The Maids house' two player game.
Get promoted to career level 9.
------------------------------
Yep, you need to get promoted again, so you will need more friends and even
more skills.
Unlocks: 'Elle Belle' Pool and 'I Claudis' Roman Pool.
Upgrade your abode, when you go to buy mode.
-------------------------------------------
Same old goal, same old challenge, this time you'll need to add $4000 to your
house so buy stuff that will keep your kids happy.
Take care of the baby.
---------------------
To have a baby either get you and your partner in the Libidinex Spa System or
in the Vibromatic Heart Bed and select 'Play', a bit later a baby will arrive,
which you can name. Note if you and your Sim don't play for a while then the
game will automatically give you a child.
Once you've done the above goals to look after baby do the following, when it
cries, sing to it, feed it, and play with it, do all 3 to stop it crying for a
while. If your partner doesn't work, (Mine didn't) have them look after the
baby while your main Sim works on there skills etc... Have the cot in the main
bedroom but have your main Sim sleep in your kids bedroom so when it cries your
important sim wont be awaken and put into a bad mood, this also allows your
partner to get to the crying child quickly.
Unlocks: Domestic Beach Simulator
Keep Kids in School.
-------------------
Once your baby has grown into a child it will have to go to school each day,
the bus arrives at 7:00am each morning. If the grade falls to an F they will be
expelled and sent to Military School, meaning raising a baby again!. To raise
the grade have them study at the bookshelf, computer or telescope as this will
increase their grade. The maximum grade is A+.
Have two kids.
-------------
You can only take care of one baby at a time so don't try for a second until
the other has grown into a child. Note: you can use the other adult Sim to go
to work while the 1st born looks after the kid, this means there grade will
fall, but you'll have extra income. Also note, kids can't use the Sonic Shower
or make meals, they can only take snacks from the fridge so keep them well
fed.
Unlocks: Happy Thunder Neoscillating Sprinkler.
Get Married.
-----------
This only appears if you partner leaves after a fight, so you will have
to go through the whole 'scoring' stage again.
<<< Bonuses >>>
---------------
Unlock: Bearskin Rug
Leave the house in eight days or less.
Unlock: Red Blazer
Make friends with Charles Cheeky.
Unlock: Egyptian Headdress
Make friends with Chantal Cheeky.
===============================================================================
The Last Simoleon
===============================================================================
--- Goals ---
Save $20,000 to buy a yacht for early retirement.
------------------------------------------------
This is a bad goal, every time you leave a house Malcolm will pay back all the
money you've spent on that house, so when you enter the mansion you may already
have over $20,000 so the computer will automatically use this money to buy the
yacht, leaving you will very little money to spend on the drafty mansion. So
you can make the mansion smaller, sell some non-essential items such as the
pool and the Bearskin rug to gain some Simoleons to spend on the house.
Note: as the last level was long and hard you may have a lot of money as well
as the yacht so you wont be effected, also when the kids leave you can sell
their stuff for even more money.
Get promoted to career level 10.
-------------------------------
This is it, you last promotion. Increase the skills you need and make sure you
have enough friends, remember if another member of the family makes a friend,
then that friend will be added to all members of the family, so a friend of
there's is a friend of yours.
Send Kids to Prep school with straight 'A's.
-------------------------------------------
Your Kids will need A's if they are to go to Prep school, if the grades aren't
at A's increase it by studying at PC's, bookshelf's, or by using a telescope.
Send them to school in a good mood and they will be sent to Prep School. Note,
each kid will cost you $1,500 and because there's two that's a grand total of
$3,000 so if you haven't got the money then no Prep School for your kids.
Unlocks: Meet Major Domo!
Throw one GREAT party before you retire!.
----------------------------------------
Once you have completed all the goals you will need to throw one last party, as
for the other parties make sure your Sim is in a good mood, theres lots of food
(Pizza and regular), and stuff for your guests to do. It also help if you have
an Aromaster Whifferpuffer on the 2nd setting as this will make your guests fun
rise. If its a success then Malcolm will arrive.
I wont spoil the end, but Congratulations you have completed 'Get A life' and
unlocked everything!

15.DRE's (Disk Read Errors)
===============================================================================
The Sims is a great game yet some PS2's have problems playing its disk as its
the blue-black type. To try and lower the amount of DRE's you get do the
following,
1.Make sure there are no scratches or the disk is dirty,
2.Ensure your PS2 has no dust inside, use a vacuum to clean the vents
If the game freezes or the sound stops working you can do two things, pause the
game wait then un-pause if this doesn't work put your PS2 in the opposite
position e.g. horizontal to vertical or vice versa.
