Here is the complete exhaustive list of all names that cannot be
used as a name for your characters, presented in names shorter than
7 characters, (the limit), names that are exactly 7 characters long,
and finally, for those interested, names longer than 7 characters.
Some of the not allowed names may not make sense, like "???" or
"Dummy", but the game nonetheless disallows them.
There are means of using these names however, whether or not you
have an action replay for gamecube.

Simple work around to use these names without an action replay,
and barely noticeable at all, is to add a space to the end of the
name. The other work around, is alter the case, since these names are
case sensitive. Ex. "andy", "Andy", and "ANDY" are not the same. The
only one you cannot use is "Andy", but you can use "andy" and "ANDY".

None of these names will fit into your character name slot. However,
if the name is 8 characters long and has a space, you can drop the space.
If no space is present, then there isn't much you can do, short of dropping
a letter or 2 from the name. The action replay will not be able to help you
here.
