So, it helps with Redd, lottery, golden spots, and also the rewards from villagers?
That means that villagers will give something worthwhile more than usual? Thanks. I have to do that, then. (Especially in AC:CF. My brothers will be amazed by my possible wealth. ^_^)

Fung Shei is pretty much broken up into 2 factions:
1) Increase probability of receiving rare items (Red, East side)
2) Increase probability of finding more money (Yellow, West side)
Green & Orange (South & North, respectfully) work with factions.
Why placing items in their Fung Shei zone, you help stimulate your luck.
Focusing on Yellow Fung Shei will increase the chances of getting 10,000 or even 30,000 Bells from your shiny spot instead of the standard 1,000 without the assistance of Katrina.
Focusing on Red Fung Shei will increase the chances of getting hard-to-find items, like stuff that Crazy Redd sells, stuff that's only available on Nook's Lottery Day. This can include some NES games (excluding uncommon & "Forbidden" ones). This also reduces the chance of getting lame rewards like stationary.
Please note that Fung Shei only assists in boost the probability of good things happening to you. IT IS NOT A GUARANTEE!
You'll likely want to take a look at a Fung Shei guide here or visit some of the AC community websites for tips on where to place stuff. Just become an item is a certain color doesn't mean that it's Fung Shei color is the same!

Feng Shui gives you "luck." There is no way to determine your "luck score"
(that I know of). But what it WILL do is increase the amount and frequency of
finding bells, and the frequency and "quality" of getting items. That is, the
items you get will be better - the animals will give you furniture more often
and less of all that blasted stationary and outfits. IT WORKS!
I believe you can get some extra points from the Happy Room Academy as well.
YoshiBob210 is correct. Many of the best color combinations are part of the same set.
It'll increase your luck as it says, as well as get you bonus points with the HRA as well as, as Pikachu said, you'll find/receive better items.
yeah, pretty much the same thing that everyone is saying, except the HRA points. it doesn't help. ask Mp16z about it. he's the master of HRA.
but it's not just having the items in your house, it's also colors, and color placement. i think there's a guide on feng shui in the FAQs section if you need more help.
