I'm pretty sure that you get an alternate ending from defeating Bowser, and the option to wear a Hawaiian-style shirt, given to you by the Pianta that gives you Sunglasses.

You don't play as Luigi the second time. All you get is a different picture during the credits.
I have the answer because i got this reward, you get a special photo of all the characters (excluding bowser and his son) of them saying have a relaxing vacation, and the hawaiian shirt is unlocked by getting 30 or more shine sprites ( i'm not sure maybe more).
The hawaiian shirt is unlocked the first time you beat the game.
You just get a different ending screen after the credits that says, 'Have a relaxing vacation." Nothing else.
P.S. You get the Hawaiian shirt after you beat Corona Mountain the first time.
you get a different ending photo and you can wear a stylish Hawaiian style shirt. When you collect 30 shrines, you unlock the sunglasses, not the shirt. I don't mean to be rude, but next time you have a question regarding a reward for completion or secret, check the cheats page before posting a question about it.
