Batman: Vengeance

I am asking for my grandson, but everytime he gets to Mr. Freeze he says he cannot break the hold once Mr Freeze freezes him and his older brother doesn't know how to help either. I am NO HELP whatsoever at any games but he is tired of restarting game and not being able to get past this point. Anyone who can help has no idea how much better it will be around this house, and of all the games this is the one he wants to play. You will forever be in a grandmother's debt and gratitude, since this is my last resort. Please help us!
