When you complete every level in every mode with a character, it says that said character's personal weapon and finale video have been unlocked. So for so good. But, the same doesn't happen with the unlockable characters: Whack Angus, T. Wrecks, Count Earl and Brian the Brain.
The unlocked weapon works, although the videos are nowhere to be found. Not on the Intro Videos (on the main menu) and not on the finale videos (on Options/View Progress).
Also, sometimes (mostly the first time I turn on the game on a given day/couple hours), the screen that spins around, showing the winner doesn't advance, not matter how many times I press A.

statusThe hidden characters don't have ending movies, as far as I know. As for your second question, I have that problem too sometimes - it just seems to be a random occurence, and cleaning the disc doesn't help.
I know this is an old question...but yes tey do have ending movies. To unlock each characters you come in first for every single possible event for that character. Gate, Smash and Flag. It is very time consuming, I am a very big fan of this game and I only have two of them.
