How do you unlock sonic 2 with knuckes&sonic 3 with knuckles?

What specific details are you supposed to follow

to unlock sonic 2 and kunckles, play sonic 2 and sonic spinball each 20 times. starting the game and going back to the game menu while pausing counts as playing it once.

Answer

If you want to unlock Knucles in Sonic 2, you have to play Sonic the Hedgehog 2 & Sonic Spinball 20 times. To unlock Sonic 3 & Knuckles, you must play Sonic the Hedgehog 3, & Sonic & Knuckles 20 times, but you don't really have to play it, just keep selecting the game, & going back to the menu, it counts as playing the games, it does not tell you how many times you played it. You cam also unlock Blue Sphere, to do it you play Sonic Hedgehog, & Sonic 3D 20 times, to unlock Flicky you play Mean Bean Machine 20 times, to unlock Ristar you play Blue Sphere Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles 30 times each!
