Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut
Question from Xaragon64DS
Asked on: 9/16 11:58AMI have 5 medals left until Metal Sonic, those last 5 are from the Chao Races. I don't need any cosmetic Chao, they are nice, but I want Metal Sonic and I need to clear those races. What is the best level in the categories for the Chao to win the races? I go to the gardens a lot but I hear that people have Lv99 Chao stats and I have Lv5 stats.

I have a GBA and the GBA GCN cable (from Zelda Four Swords), but no Sonic Advance cartridges. The question is, "What level should my Chao be for the races?"
I beat the beginner races, but I'm stuck on the jewel races. How much of each stat is reccommended to win?

I DO have Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, I know about how the Tiny Chao Garden works. So is SA2B better for raising Chao? If I have to, I can put the Chao in there.
I did start the Jem Races, I haven't got past Pearl Course, but my chao came in 5th place and his stats were around 20 (give of take a few levels).

statusDo you have Sonic Advance 1, 2, or Sonic Pinball Party? If you do, I highly suggest using the tiny chao garden in it to level up you chao. You will also need a Gameboy/Gamecube adapter. Just level up the one chao. It goes a lot faster with you just focusing on one chao. If you don't have any of the games I mentioned, I'm sure you can find them at a place that sells used games. As for the adapter, that may be harder to find.
I would recommend it having all the levels at 99. With the GBA to GC cable you are able to download a temporary choa garden that makes a copy of your choa. The garden is lost once you turn off you GBA, and if you bring the copied choa back to the GC, the copy replaces the original (though it still has the animal parts). And all Tiny Choa Gardens don't allow you to level up your choa though. But, I would recommend the GBA garden if you have a cartridge that has Tiny Choa Garden. Since you don't use Sonic Adventure Battle 2, it doesn't make your choa defunkitated. If you don't just give it choa fruit.
