Speed. 'nuff said. Other formations (fly, power) will only slow you down, so stick to speed formation, and to answer another potential question, Sonic and Shadows teams are your best bets.

statusI believe Team Rose is the best team to use and to use Amy. She is a speed type, and therefore, she can easily get to the goal or collect the Chaos Emerald. Team Rose's regular levels also have many easy opportunities to get the key.

Speed. Not matter WHAT the orbs are alined as, USE SPEED. If you don't use speed, the only thing that will do is make you act like a sloth trying to get the Chaos Emeralds. Oh and smashbrosbar21, thank-you for awsering my question. Right after you did that, I tried it, and now I can say I've beaten the final boss!
