Glitchy? You mean when you play MM for the GC and not go on any sidequests, it is still likely to freeze during certain parts?

Ok, thank you!
Yes, Majora's Mask was re-released (re- because it was originally for the N64) for the GC in the bundle on the Collector's Edition disc. I would call it officially licensed, too, if that's what you were asking. I have personally never encountered a glitch or a freeze with the GC version of MM. I would think the N64 version would play cleaner, though, because it is the original version of the game. If you're considering buying MM for the GC, you shouldn't have anything to worry about in terms of game durability.

statusThe data of Majora's Mask was transfered to the GameCube to The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition. But if you have an N64, I suggest getting MM for it, the game is less glitchy. Although not everyone experiences these glitches, if you're conserned about freezing issues, get the N64 version.
I am personally not sure, as I have never experienced this. The only glitch I get is when I start up my GCN, try to play MM and my GCN powers-off for a split-second and powers back on.
