Each record cost a lot of money (500G to 1000G average) and you can only get them from Van if you actually want to buy them. and you would need to have the GBA game (friends in mineral town) connected. the faster way (and you get more of them) is to just use the "get everything" cheat (Z on 3rd slot controller)

statusYou get records by connecting with the GBA game. When you connect, Van will start to go back and forth between your GBA cart. Interact with him there and start buying his records in your MFoMT town game. Once you've bought some stuff from him in the GBA game, connect again, and Van should start selling records in your GCN game. Keep repeating this process to get more records.
just use the item cheat and you will get 99 of each kinD
