it doesn't show the cues when i should
initiate speed kill
should i buy another game or
how do i beat it without the cues.

The moment of the speed kill is " The screen will turn into dark and white enclosed a sound ". If you didn't see this moment, you would buy another disc to play.
This is stated in one of the FAQs. If you go up one of the paths on the wall, you get that glitch. If you go up the other one, you should get the cues.
When the fight starts, go up the path nearest you - you should probably already see it or be close to seeing it. If you do this one first, you should get the cues. It's really not hard as long as you do that one first.
