From Russia With Love

"James bond...good and then some."

Story. 1/10
The story is: James bond finds out a girl is in love with him, so he goes to Russia to find her. Along the way some crazy things happen and you have to fight your way to her.

Game play. 10/10
Very linear to say the least. There is around 16 levels. After you beat each level you get a gun or two. The game has a few RPG elements were you upgrade your armor, or you upgrade your gadgets/guns. It's quite fun to play this game, but there is one problem; It's so linear! There is only one way to do anything. A good thing is that you can hide behind walls for cover. There is also a new feature called bond focus, were if you press the button bond will focus in to let you get a better shot at enemies! In bond focus mode you can shoot grenades out of enemies pockets, while watching it explode and every enemy around him will die in the explosion. There is your typical car driving missions except these ones are not even close to as fun as Every Thing or Nothings missions.

Graphics. 9/10
These are some pretty good graphics. The girls may look a little weird at times, but Sean Connery looks amazingly close to him younger self. The game maintains a steady frame rate with no noticeable slowdown. The explosions look really really good, and are very impressive. The guns look very nice, and the re-loading is also very realistic! The cars also look pretty good.

Sound. 9/10
The coolest thing is that Sean Connery really voiced the game! The guns sound as good as usual, and the explosions also sound pretty good. The sounds of the cars are exceptional, but could be a lot better than they are. There is a totally re-mixed sound track with all of the old Bond music! But the music doesn't play often enough to appreciate.

Controls. 8/10
The controls are alright at best. Bond kind of feels clunky and weird, but after a while you will love the controls. The vehicles handle very good, as with the jet pack. They are really responsive. There is the target button, the shoot button, reload, action, and thats pretty much at for controls.

Good:
+ Voiced by Connery.
+ Very FUN!
+ Good controls.
+ Good sound.
Bad:
-Horrible story.
-Very linear.

Rent or Buy?
Well It's only $20 now so by all means buy it today! I guarantee you will have fun with this game. If you are a bond fan then buy it all the more. But if you love a good story, then you might want to stay away from this title.
