Well, I will start off by saying the controls are the absolute worst. I have never seen a game with such unresponsive controls ever. When you dash and then try to do a charge attack, the game doesn't even detect the hard attack button being pressed. Also, happens when you are doing "combos." The games combos aren't all that great to begin with, but the lack of responsiveness of the controls make it worse.

Now about that useless dash button. It doesn't matter which direction you are holding the analog stick, you will ALWAYS dash in the direction you are facing. That means no escape if you are cornered and getting wailed on. Next, up is the knock over from dashing. Why in the world would you make only one character in the game capable of knocking opponents over with a dash? Its stupid and makes no sense. Raphael is suppose the strongest because he can push heavy objects, now why can't he ram enemies?

The game has absolutely no form of lock on. Even with shurikens. The shurikens have a tendency to lock onto the wrong people or not lock on the people at all. Talk about inconsistency. The availability of a lock on would help a lot since all combos are pretty much linear. You go into a strait line and keep going until you have you back completely exposed. Dashing helps half the time, but that depends more on luck; you might just get surrounded while finishing the combo.

Gameplay 2/10-

Camera angle of death!! The zoom is horrible and getting killed by an off screen enemy is no fun either. In two player mode you can get trapped in an invisible wall pretty easily. Then to top it off you can't hit certain enemies out of range but they can hit you, especially true when the computer is right out side of the "boundary."

When you are in the race levels they graphics for player # get in the way and confuses the hell out me. Then graphics for getting a coin makes it worse. enough said.

Graphics 8/10-

Graphics are great. too bad they spent too much time on that rather than other things.

Sound 7/10-

Good sound some of the quotes are funny but get boring over time.

Overall 3/10-

If you want to waste time go a head. This game puts my all time favorite video game series to shame. Good thing I haven't the first one.
