"Almost as good as the Tony Hawk games!"

In this mad world we call Earth, nobody can go one month without the release of a game that is exactly like the Tony Hawk games except for one thing: they usually are mediocre. Some of them however rise above just being a simple clone and are a fun yet familiar game. Aggressive Inline is one of those games and is really fun despite a couple flaws..

Graphics: 8
The environments are nicely done. they range from a movie set to a fair and even a machine factory that are done very well. My only complaint is the characters are a bit blocky and water is just plain ugly, but besides that the graphics are good.

Controls: 8
The character movement is somewhat stiff in my opinion. The button layout is great though and it is easy to get the hang of the tricks.

Sound:8
All the sounds are nice, but the soundtrack is small and has a couple of crappy tracks.

Gameplay: 9
Think Tony Hawk on roller skates and you have a pretty good idea of what this game is like. There are 7 huge levels to bust some tricks at. Something different than TH games is the juice meter. The game gets rid of the clock to make it so if you run out it's game over. You can collect juice while skating which is a good thing considering that there are tons of goals. The only problem is the camera because you cant really see where your heading sometimes.

Replay: 8
You can unlock weird looking and bizarre characters to play as and create levels of your own. You can also challenge your friends at multiplayer.

Length: Maybe a couple days for the average gamer and maybe a week to beat all objectives.

Tony Hawk VS Aggressive Inline, which is better?:Tony Hawk
Aggressive Inline is awesome and all but TH games are smother and have bit more replay value to them. Also the levels are a little more creative in TH and you can't deny the fact that the game plays just like TH games. But Aggressive Inline is a solid title that deserves attention. It is also one of the only games that rivals Tony Hawk. Another good game that is like Tony Hawk is Go Go Hypergrind which I will review soon.

Buy or rent: Considering it is freaking cheap and is an awesome game overall i'd say buy!

Overall score: 8.2/10 (rounded to an 8)
