"The Ultimate Customization: Gamecube + Custom Robo"

The Gamecube has always had an ideal base of Nintendo franchises; Mario, Kirby, Zelda, Yoshi, Metroid, the list goes on... But, no other game from Nintendo has been so... customized. Welcome to the world of Custom Robo, a game that passed the boundaries of a robot fighter even though the robots are as tiny as a rat. The game features an storm of intensity & grace through each & every fight, but there is a TWIST, & I repeat, TWIST with this fighter... You can customize the robots with bombs, pods, bodys, guns, & legs. That's just all you need to know for playing CR, except for knowing all the controls in a robo battle, like B is shooting a gun, A for jumping, & L, or R for launching bombs... or pods... This is all, & I repeat, ALL you need to know for a robo battle. This game takes a different approach from another robo fighter, Gotcha Force, & you'll probably see what I mean when you play it. Though Nintendo has created the cartoony likeness of Mario & other games, this game has all the style without the cartoon graphics. Even the robos look like they were created from T for Teen likeness... Well, some maybe not, like Rahu... This game not only has a 2P battle mode, it also has a story mode which I will talk about later.

Gameplay: 8/10
The gameplay has a constant robot battle system; you shoot robots out of cannons as cubes, they fight until 1 robo reaches 0 HP, & that is it. Also, as I said, you can customize your robo with different parts, even a series of untested parts called ''Illegal Parts'', but, as a robo fighter game, this game will aim to please. Gotcha Force would not even stand up to this game... Period.
Also, the gameplay has quite a way of making a technical stage technical, which means that it can please the more hardcore gamers, & thus this game, as I said, aims to please.

Story: 7/10
The story follows a kid who joins a bounty hunter gang called the Steel Hearts who is called into action when a gang of robbers plan to steal a robo called Ray 01, who is the hero's robo, but as I said, you can customize & even change the body of robos. Anyways, the Steel Hearts then get into a sudden battle with the Z Syndicate, a mysterious organization, who are after a legendary being called Rahu, who is the size of a robo, but does not have the look of one. Anyways, story mode could have had more, but, it still is fun. The parts you get in the story are added to your use in 2P mode, which is oh, so good, & as I said before, it is fun. NOW LIKE IT!! Just kidding.

Graphics: 10/10
They are unbelievable, even in robo battle form, they would just blow away the player playing it, and the part appearances are amazing, the way appear, it is just so awesome. Of course even story mode's graphics is good, with the part generators & characters, it makes story complete, & even the game complete. The new Custom Robo DS releases in the Fall of '06, so let's hope it pleases as much as CR.

In conclusion, this game is a awesome pick for your Gamecube. It is just as awesome as a robo fighter should be. I decree that I give this game a 9/10. I hope that Custom Robo DS can please as much as this, even with Wi-Fi. Let's hope that we get more CR in the future of gaming. That is correct, I said FUTURE of gaming, which are systems far more complex than just button mashing... Now, as I said before, I give CR a 9/10. Enough said.
