"Roll the Dice Block, and You're Off!"

The makers of the Mario Party made a good decision to make a 7th. With the Mic, and the new 8 player feature, this game is great entertainment and fun for you and your friends. It also has 2 new characters added to the party, so the fun can never stop.

A breakdown of the game:

Game play-9/10

Basically, Mario and his friends are on a luxurious cruise, and Bowser is upset because he wasn't invited. Because of this, Bowser wants to turn the party into a nightmare. On the ship, Mario and the others go to different places to get stars, and keep the party going. In the game, you roll the dice to move spaces, and after everyone moved, you play a mini-game, and the cycle repeats. This makes game-play simple, and easy to accomplish. You can pick a 4 player melee, or a 8 player Deluxe Cruise, which packs even more excitement into the game.

Sound-9/10

The sound is made up of fun and catchy music, along with great sound effects, making it an exciting game to play. All the characters have different voices, so it doesn't get boring with the same laughs and taunts. Even the stages and mini-games have different songs, so there is a wide variety of tunes to listen to.

Graphics-10/10

Of all the Mario Parties ever made, this one has to have the best graphics. The scenes aren't blocky, and you can see a lot of detail in the 3D characters. The split screen scenes are all identical, and the layouts of the boards have never been better.

Control-10/10

The controls are simple and easy to understand. Although there are different controls for each mini-game, they are explained before and during the game (when you pause) so there is never any confusion. In the party mode, to hit the dice block, simply press "A" to roll the dice. If in multi-player mode, press either "L" or "R", depending which side of the control you're holding.

Multi-player-10/10

The multi-player action is the only thing that the Mario Party needs. The 4 player mode is fun for the family, while the 8 player party is fun for everyone. Multi-player Mode can either pit your friend with each other, or against each other. In the multi-player part of this game, the fun can never stop!

Mini-games-10/10

The mini-games are the reason the Mario Party is so popular. They need to be good for the game to be good. In this game, you don't need to worry about that. The mini-games have varied types, from 4 player mini-games, to 2 versus 2, and to 1 versus 3! There are even DK mini-games, in which everyone wins, and Bowser mini-games, where there can be no winner.

Overall score-10/10

This game has to be the best Mario Party yet! The new features and mini-games always leave you with laughs, the graphics and music are enjoyable to listen to and view, and the game is just plain awesome. People who haven't tried this game yet should, because there is no other like it!
