Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

"Best. Gamecube Game. Ever. ("Best. Series. Ever.")"

When Baldur's Gate was first available to buy, my first thought was to gather some information. Read reviews, rent, ask around. I'm glad I did, 'cause I got my hands on the best Gamecube game ever.

Story: 10/10
Amazing! I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll put it simply...
You're one of three characters, Vahn, human archer, Kromlech, dwarven fighter, and Adrianna, elven sorceress. There are three acts or "levels", which is probably easier to understand. I find the third act hardest. (final anythings are usually hardest) All in all, an awesome story.

Gameplay: 10/10
An extremely fun and cool game. Controls are easy to learn and hard to forget. Two-player mode is very fun and addictive. It's easy to hit enemies, so if you have bad accuracy, don't worry. This game a must have for a Gamecube owner.

Graphics: 10/10
Incredible graphics for an old Gamecube game! (well kinda old) Camera and darkness in some of the later acts are probably the worst part about this game, but I can fix them both so, this doesn't include me, among other people. The weapons look great in a close-up view, but pretty meh at the fighting screens. Enemies look pretty good graphic-wise, especially in close-up views.

Sound: 10/10
If you have surround-sound system and startle easily, beware. The incredible sound makes you feel like you're in the game. The music's good and comes out great. Surround-sound is a good idea if you want a good listening pleasure to the game, just watch out for the feeling someone is watching you... *turns around*... they'll be here... soon...

Replayability: 10/10
I would know. I beat the game twice, gotten to the third act twice, to the second act 3 times, and the first act at least 5 times. Game's still not gotten old. Amazing, yes. Coincedence, no. It's just a perfect game. With perfect replayability. In fact, I'm going to play through it again very soon.

Overall: 10/10
I know what you're thinking, "There's no such thing as a perfect game." Well, you're horribly mistaken. Sorry, but this IS the perfect game! I highly, HIGHLY recommend it!
