Ultimate Spider-Man

"Overated???"

OVERATED???

The title of this game is called ultimate spider man. It does not mean this is the ultimate spider man game ever, it means about the suit. When I read the ultimate guide to spider man it said that this was the ultimate spider man costume. Not the ultimate spider man game ever.

GAME PLAY

This game is very fun to play sometimes you will get stuck and you will probably get furious. I know I did, because I couldn't get past this certain part but I kept at it and eventually I got past that part which is very hard.

I think this game can be medium - Hard. Because the scenario is somewhat hard because some of the levels were a little annoying. But once you beat the game it should be really easy because you do races and find the tokens and stuff like that.

The controls are really easy web sling is easy too, and all the other stuff is really easy to control. Also the controls are pretty close to spider man 2 and Spider man the movie. And if you have played another spider man game the controls might be close to that too.

STORY

The story is about that Peter and Eddie Brock were friends and then recently they met up with each other and I guess are now good friends. One thing they were friends is because Peter and Eddie's Dads were scientists together so that helped them to become best friends. And the both of the dads were trying to make a thing to cure cancer, which they ended up making the formula for Venom and then Eddie ends up using the formula and he is now Venom.

GRAPHICS

Graphics were great this is for the Gamecube so this should have good graphics since it was made in the 21st century. The characters were clean and crisp and you could see fine, you would have to move the camera around to see spider mans face just because you don't have the camera right next to spider man so you just have to move it around if you want to see spider man's face.

SOUND
10/10

The sound was great there are sound effects when you break cars or fling them at helicopters and other stuff. There wasn't very much music there was only one from when you swing around and then there is some when you are in a boss battle to make things different.

PLAYTIME / REPLAY ABILITY

The playtime to play this is maybe around 30-45 to get the feel and how to web zip. Once you have played over 2 hours or beat the game you should be pretty good at swinging and web zipping.

Replay ability

You have ample of stuff to do after the game. You can play as Venom once you beaten the scenario and you do races, combat tours and you race Johnny storm from F4 (Fantastic four) and if you beat him you open more races. And last you can be Venom and go around and break stuff eat people or destroy cars on the street.

FINAL RECOMMENDATION

I recommend that you buy this game because you can still get it at Target or Wal mart or gamestop or places like those simply because this is still around and made a couple years ago. And this wouldn't be very fun to rent it and then after you beat it and not be able to play around and stuff.
