Ultimate Spider-Man

"Not Spiderman 2 but not crap either"

Well let me start off by saying this game is not in the same Universe as the Spider-man we know and love sorry. However, it is in the Ultimate Marvel universe which is not the same and thats why the story seem a bit weird to non-comic fans.But do not forget it is a superhero game and have like many others it is way to short.

Story: 9/10

It was very good and well though out. It really showed the witty side of Spider-man we grown to love and the crazy side of Venom. Like I said before this in the Ultimate Marvel universe so don't expect the Venom suit to come from outer-space.Other than the fact it is to short and lack of introduction to the Ultimate universe it was good.

Sound: 7/10

It had the same problem as Spider-man 2 you almost hear no music at all through out whole game. You might hear the music o faster every now and then but nothing major. The other sounds were very good though and fitied the comic book style. One more thing if you played Spider-man 2 some of the people in distress voices may sound familar.

Graphic: 9/10

It very unique and looks good for this game and not much can be said. However, the cars are crap and so are some of the buildings. The character have very familiar look if you read the comic and if you don't the character might look a bit off.

Gameplay: 7/10
The game-play is simple yet enjoyable. The races lived up to there name insane mean insane. The races with Johnny Storm was fun but to easy. The boss fight were some time unoriginal since you fought some villains more than once. The other boss fight are basically follow the speeding person. Let it be noted Venom's has a very very hard mission involving chasing someone.

Overall: 8/10
Very good for die hard Spider-man fans and gamers alike other than the the fact you beat faster than it takes to red the credits its a great game. If only they could combine Spider-man 2 with this maybe the have a winer. Since it $20 I suggest getting or just rent it.
