"Hard to find, but worth it!!"

Bomberman is a pretty recognizable character. Most every gamer knows about him, but not his games. Especially this one. This game rules. Sadly it didn't get the recognition it deserved. It deserves to be in ever GCN owner's collection...

Gameplay: This game is pretty easy to learn. Its not really a platformer, its more of a Zelda type action game. You use the A button to set a bomb. You set bombs on switches and stuff to advance on farther in the level. Levels range from deep arctic to the desert. Bombs are your main weapon, and tool to beat levels. On your quest you collect different types of bombs to destroy different types of enemies, and maneuvering obstacles. You also collect Pokemon esque creatures called Charabombs. There are tons of massive enemies and bosses in this game and a lot of action. They do different things for you like shield and jump. The most recognizable one is Pommy from Bomberman 64: The Second Attack. The best part of the game is the multiplayer. Who doesn't like blasting your foes to death with bombs? Its a pretty lengthy adventure so you'll be playing for a long time. The multiplayer alone, I've played for 10 hours. The single player mode is quite meaty.

Graphics: Cel-shaded graphics kick ass!! Yep they do!! The whole game is made up of a cel-shaded type style of graphics that you can go gaga for. Bomberman never looked better!! His enemies look awesome too!! The graphics are so good, they'll make you cry. You gotta love the cel-shading. Even the friggin' menus look great.

Sound: More greatness!! The sound is really impressive, and is top notch. Bomberman may sound like a little girl with A.D.D, but overall, its good sound!! The levels all sound amazing, and so do the boss fights... Bomberman's pet Charaboms are designed well, and have good voices. I also like the multiplayer battle theme. Awesome!!

Replay: You can literally play the multiplayer battle mode forever. Don't worry. If you don't have any friends, you can play against the CPUs. There is a lot to collect in Adventure mode as well, so this will last you to the next line of top-notch GCN games, though the Gamecube is now dead. I wish this had online, but its Gamecube. Hopefully the Wii game has online.

Buy, Rent, or Leave: BUY!! Buy, buy, buy!! Renting is an O.K option, but you should really buy this fantastic title. Don't even think about leaving it. This is my second favorite GCN game next to Super Smash bros. Please buy it!! If you don't like it than you can just leave, and never come back. This game is awesome.

Conclusion: Its hard to find, but thats what Ebay is for. Bomberman has been making quality games for ages, and this is one of them. If you see it, buy!! Hudson Soft, you are gods!! Another great Gamecube game...
