Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Review by The Executioner
"One of my favortie games!"
I have been a Resident Evil fan for a long time and this is one of my favorite games of Game Cube system.
Story: 10/10
The main character is Jill Valentine and she is the female protagonist in this story. The story took place around 2 months after the mansion incident in the Arklay mountains, and Resident Evil 2 took place at the same time with Resident Evil Nemesis. After the T-virus broke out and infected innocent dumb people of Raccoon City, it is up to you to escape the deadly town. In the game you will team up with the coolest soldiers of all: the UBCS team but you will also have a scary, strong and tall stalker. His mission is to kill you and make sure all of the remaining STARS members are dead.
Controls: 8/10
Just like other Resident Evil games, the controls are a bit harder for noobs but it gets easier after a few minutes.
Graphics: 9/10
To me they are a heck a lot better than the PS1 version. The pixels and pictures and movies are smoother than the old version, which is great.
Gameplay: 10/10
I love the gameplay of this game. During some part of the game, in critical condition, you will have 2 options of what you will do. Also remember that each option will have a different ending outcome. You get to meet different survivors and team up with one of the soldiers to escape. The puzzles in this game gets harder as the game continues especially the last ones. Also for the first time in Resident Evil games saga, there is bullet powders. As Jill, with the right items, you can combine different types of powders to create handgun ammo, magnum bullets or even grenade bombs, but you cant forget that they are very limited so use it wisely.
During the game, you will also have a stalker who is the baddest boss of all in my opinion. The stalker would even kill zombies that tries to kill you because he wants you that bad! There are also new enemies with different attacks and moves. Their looks will give you the chill of disgust or fear. After you beat the game, just like the other Resident Evil games, you will unlock a new mercenary mission and you get to play as other characters from the normal mode game. In this mission, you earn points and you can buy new weapons so if you play as Jill during the normal mode she would have that new weapon you just bought in the mercenary mode.
Music and Sounds: 9/10
The piano musics are what makes the game even more scarier. There is a new music that plays whenever that stalker that tries to kill you enter the same room that you are in. The sounds of the zombies are just like other RE games, which is good but not great so its ok. The sound of gunshots and zombie crawling are great, it almost sound like the real thing.
Replay Value: 9/10
The game last very long. For a newbie it can take about 2 to 3 weeks and a pro about a week. There are tons of extra new costumes after you beat the game. You can also unlock Epilogue files each time you beat the game. Epilogue files are files about what happened to Hunk, Ada, Leon, Claire, Barry, Chris and a lot more of famous characters from the past Resident Evil games.
Overall buy or rent or none? 9.2 out of 10
I suggest you buy this game even though its very hard and rare to find this game anymore. By this time, the game should be really cheap. The only thing I can say is: THIS GAME IS AWSOME!!!
