Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life

"Not much different from "A Wonderful Life""

Introduction

I didn't find anything very interesting about the introduction because it was pretty much exactly the same as "A Wonderful Life". So not much to say about there.

Graphics 9/10

The graphics are extremely well. I think that the color was exquisetly detailed and when things moved, the graphics were very going with the picture. But nothing has changed from the first game. So everything is the same. But overall, pretty good graphics.

Music/Sound 6/10

The same exact music of course. Nothing special. Of course there is about maybe 20 records to choose from, but nothing different from the first game. Besides, the music doesn't really appeal to my interests. I usually don't play the record player at all.

Gameplay 8/10

I really do love this game. You usually have something to do every day you have in the game. You can go fishing, ride your horse, mining, -- a lot of things. It's also cool you can chase after a husband the first year. But I think Natsume made this game so there was a version for girls and boys. Not for just a whole new game out on the market. But anyway, I usually turn the game off the first hour, but during that time I really enjoy it. Even though Harvest Moon is one of the best game series out there, Natsume could change a few things about this one from the first one.

Story

It's nothing special of course. You just inherit from your father or your grandfather and then go out and marry somebody. End of story.

Conclusion

If you own Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, then I recommend you DON'T buy this game. Unless you have lots of money and you wish to collect the series of these games, you should buy it. I am just letting you know they are pretty much THE SAME. If you are new to the games, pick the one that matches your gender. If you already own one of the two or both of them and are looking for a new one, I recommend[if you have a gamecube] to go buy Harvest Moon: Magical Melody. Thanks!
