"Not the best game ever, but it could've been."

Right from the get go the action starts. Armed with a variety of weapons and facing millions of enemies you have nobody to help you but your gun. Sounds like fun? It is. Of course there are some things that could have made the game better, but it still isn't bad. It's just shallow and a bit...thin.

Gameplay- This game is hard but it isn't really hard. It's a challenge. You get a lot of different types of weapons to use against your enemies and trust me you will need them. You also get a jetpack that comes standard from the beginning. This allows you to fly virtually wherever you want, something I wish was in more games. The fighting can range from fighting one enemy at a time to fighting a group. The bosses are these huge creatures that take up half the screen and take forever to kill. You usually have to use some sort of strategy to defeat them, standing and shooting doesn't work out well here. The game can get really hard and sometimes repetitive but that's usually only if you play it continually for a long period of time.

Controls- Everything is nice and fluid here. Easy to learn and even easier to use. The actions are performed with single button pressing, there's no button combos and such nonsense here. The only complaint I have here is that other than flying and shooting there's not much else you can do. It gets kind of boring at times.

Graphics- Kind of ruddy yet they aren't so bad it gives you a headache playing the game. The levels look the same for the most part and the enemies are all pretty cool looking (they come in all shapes and sizes ranging from big bugs and giant frog-like things) There isn't anything bad I can say about the graphics but there really isn't anything good I can say about them either. Which I guess means they're okay.

Storyline- The usual stuff. Something has gone wrong aboard a lone space station, outbreak of hideous monsters that kill the crew and wreck the space station, only one man can stop them. Not exactly award winning but it suffices.

Pros
+Fast paced shootouts
+A shiny jetpack that doesn't run out
+ A large variety of weapons
+Challenging

Cons
-Can be really difficult at times
-Can also be annoying at times
-Can also be repetitive at times
