Army Men: Sarge's War

"One Of The Best Army Men Games"

So I walked into the local Circuit City(Which I no longer go to). And I saw this game. I was always a huge army men game fan. I pretty much played all of them, so I bought the game. The game really entertained me. The multiplayer was good, game play was good, it wasn't boring, and awesome graphics. All that you would want in a video game.

Sound 8/10
Sound was amazing. You could hear everything around you. If you heard bullets you'd know there was an enemy. The music was like any Army music really. Not like Medal Of Honor music, but you know. Just typical army music, so yeah you could hear all of your surroundings.

Story 7/10
The story actually depressed me a little, but still the story wasn't that bad it just wasn't very happy like the other army men games, but it brightened up a little. I won't spoile anything for you though.

Graphics 8/10
Graphics were REALLY good for a Game cube game, like the cut scenes for instance. They reminded me of Xbox 360 graphics in a way. They were a lot better then the 64 graphics of course, but this game had gorgeous graphics. It was a little dark though in some levels, so I had to turn off all the lights in my game room to see it.

Game play 8/10
Gameplay was actually pretty good. It was a lot different from the original games, but there were no new weapons which really stunk! Health bar was different from the first Sarges Heroes game. There were actually different kind of army men then just one kind. There was, like a gernade men, and a machine gun men, and it was awesome! This game would be cool if it had online play, like the socom game on the Game cube, but Nintendo wern't smart enough to put online play on the Game cube(They would've gotten a lot more money on the Game cube if they did).

Overall 8/10
Pretty much this game is awesome! There were some things that they should've added, like more weapons, or maybe they could've made it like a Star Wars Battlefront thing only with less men, like a 10 to 10 game, so yeah there were a few things that would be cool in this, but 3DO were too cheap for it I guess. You should probally buy this game, instead of renting it. You'd be missing out on a lot of fun.
