"Bloody Roar exclusive on GC huh, here's what i though."

Ok, first off, let me tell you that I am only comparing this game to Bloody Roar 3 on PS2. I had never played BR before then, so needless to say I was definitely impressed. Here's the breakdown on BRPF.

Graphics: 10

I am truly sorry that i couldn't score this portion any lower. It is a significant improvement on the graphics of BR3 on PS2. The added effect of the ultimate beast mode is great for one, not to mention the new levels and revamped old ones.

Sound: 10

Nothing at all wrong with the sound in my opinion. I searched and searched for some sort of problem, and couldn't find not one.

Gameplay: 10

Well, what can i say, the camera never gives me problems... The main reason I had to give this section a 10 is simply because you can change the button config to whatever you like! That right, I can't recall any game on GC yet that allows you to set up your own buttons. OK, call me strange, but I loved DC and the way that pretty much any game, you could set up the joystick for your own comfort. It's the same way with this one folks.

Story: 7

This was the only problem I have with BRPF. Ok, as soon as i put it in my GC for the 1st time, i couldn't wait for the sure-to-be super tight intro/story. Let me just cut to the point, the intro and all the movies on the game are anime. That's right, cartoons. I was looking for FMV's and got anime. Don't get me wrong, I love anime, I'm the biggest DBZ fan on the planet, hands down. But I was sorely disappointed to see it here. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually talked, but no, it's just music and subs. :-(

Replay: 10

Want hidden character/features like Tekken 3? Well want no more. Aside from the bare cheat menu just waiting for cheats to be unlocked, there's a few hidden characters as well as modes to be unlocked. I like this allot. :-)

Final Score: 9

Rent/Buy:

Definitely buy. Aside from SSB, what fighting game is there to play now? If you said ''NONE'', you're right. When I went to the mall today to pick up a new game, I wasn't sure what to get. While the clerk was assisting me in my decision, she made this statement: ''Nintendo may not have as many games out right now as say, Xbox, but it appears as if the time that it's taking for the games to come out is paying off, in the form of solid games.'' She was right, especially in the case of Bloody Roar: Primal Fury.
