"New and Improved"

James Bond is back and he's looking as cool as ever; with his new gadgets and weaponry, he's ready to take out the bad guys. Unlike Goldeneye and TWINE though, Agent Under Fire is not based on a movie/book. Instead, EA has come up with a new plot on its own, with terrorists and sort, and still manages to capture James Bond at his best.

Graphics (8/10)

The graphics are rich, sharp, and smooth, allowing you to see very fine detail on the guns, and surroundings. The expressions on character's faces are distinguishable, and give the figures their own personality. However, the game does not seem to use the Gamecube to its full potential power, compared to other games.

Control (9/10)

The control has changed, obviously due to the different controller style, but is still easy to handle and get used to. Furthermore, at the beginning of each level, they show a diagram with the buttons you use, so you are constantly reminded. If the controls still don't suit you, then there are three others that might.

Gameplay (10/10)

The gameplay is fantastic and addicting, especially since there are three different types of missions. First, the standard missions where you shoot anything that starts to shoot at you. Now the new types are Rail Shooters and Vehicle Shooters where you control a vehicle or mounted gun and blast away. The missions are fairly easy, or hard, depending on what difficulty you choose. Back from Goldeneye, the three difficulties allow you to test your skill against enemies that are much tougher and take more bullets to go down. Watch yourself out there.

Sound (9/10)

With Bond music blasting away as you drive your BMW, gunning down enemies, you feel like you're in the game. As if that wasn't enough, classic Bond music starts to play whenever you perform an agent-like move like blowing up barrels near enemies or performing stunts with your car. It gets repetitive after a while, but hey, it's still fun to hear and who doesn't like it?

Replay Value (9/10)

If the single-player missions don't have you coming back for more trying to earn better scores and medals, then the multiplayer will. Classic multiplayer action like in Goldeneye, except for the bots, and cool new weaponry that Bond has to extinguish his opponents with.

Overall (9/10)

What's there to say when you could be trying the game out for yourself.
