James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire
Review by Ness 1234
"I can't stop playing Agent Under Fire!"
This game may not be as good as Goldeneye for the old N64 but it is a fun game and highly addicting. Of course, you play as James Bond in the single player missions or a number of other skins in multiplayer. You use gadgets that always have the letter ''Q'' in front of them, like the movies.
Gameplay:10
The gameplay is excellent. Controls are an ease with the GC controllers. The first person mode is fun and challenging. There is even some car driving modes, like Spy Hunter. The game can also be rather challenging at times, which can frustrate you. There's not as much gore in Agent Under Fire but it is ok.
Multiplayer:10
Multiplayer is the best about this game! Fun but I noticed that the Bots move slow as cows. You can adjust their aggressiveness and difficulty to correct this but then they move too fast and appear too mechanical. Lots of different arenas to frag on. You can use gadgets such as the Q jet and the Q claw. There is power-ups such as power and armor.
Sound/Graphics:9
The graphics are WAY better than The Worlds Not Enough on the N64 but that was the N64's graphics. You can see from their faces to their shoes. The Sound is perfect you can hear people talk clearly , you can hear very loud explosions. Be prepared for your Mom or Dad yelling at you to ''TURN THE TV DOWN''.
Weapons:7
Some of the weapons look horrible and some look cool.
You can unlock Golden Guns and other guns for multiplayer.
The reason it gets a 7 is because, some of the guns look so fake and some look real. The sniper doesn't show your shot hit an opponent though your view, just the guy droping dead.
Replayability:8
Since there is only 12 missions you can play levels over to unlock stuff for multiplayer and you sometimes can use them in 1-Player mode. You can play a mission over to get Gold medal and then Platium medal. Even though the game can be completed in a few days the multiplayer option keeps the game going. But if you don't have a bro or buddy to play with, you may get bored with the phony-moving bots.
To Buy or Rent?
I think all games should be rented first because 50 dollars a pop can add up real fast! You should buy it if you ask me but if you have never played a first person shooter game then I suggest you rent it. It's easilly the best FPS on the GAMECUBE.
