"All-Star baseball hits a home run: in a silo"

This game is good for people who can overlook glitches so severe that it makes ET for Atari look good. It has great game play but lacks a Franchise mode for some extra fun and to make you look good by winning World Series many times in a row. What this game really needs is to be fun that is pretty much it. This game has some fun sides to it but for the most part it is not very fun.

Graphics 7/10

This game has good graphics, great at times horrible at other times. This game has better graphics than most of the baseball games this year but they still could be better. All Star Baseball 2002 needs something to be considered good in this category such as realistic catches not catches that you make when you are about 5 inches on the screen away from the ball.

Sound 5/10

The sound in this game is very choppy. It needs to become more clear and the announcers need to say more then one thing per batter because after one time around the line-up you should turn on your CD player and listen to your eminem cd for a temporary relief from the horror. The announcers will yell ''What a catch'' for a catch that is basic such as a pop fly.

Controls 5/10

The controls are weird because of the buttons you press to throw to each base. Why not use the C-stick and press it in the direction of the base (such as down to go home, up to go to second, etc.) and if you press A to throw home sometimes you'll throw to the closest base and the run scores and everyone safe and that never costs you the game. It only never costs you the game because you can just respond with ten runs the next inning.

Fun Factor 2/10

I gave it a 2 in this category because it is fun for around 2 innings than you figure it out and it becomes boring. This game needs to get fun and have the best team in baseball (D-backs) better than an 87 and the Yankees better than an 86. This game needs a lot done to it but the way games are today it can easily be done in a couple of years. So in closing this game isn't even a rental it's a borrow from stupid best friend who bought it (thanks jim)!
