Bomberman Generation

"You'll have a BLAST!"

Well, well, My first review. I am Fat Man Can Can, That's my name and games are my game. Hey that's pretty good. I decided to review Bomberman Generation for the GC. I am a big Bomberman fan, and as soon as I saw this on the shelves, I bought it for my GC. I know the N64 games were painfully AVERAGE!, but , nevertheless, I had high hopes for this game. I loved playing Bomberman Online for the Dreamcast, so I knew this one would be just as good. So, shall we?

GAMEPLAY:10/10
The Gameplay here is really good. Single-player is a blast!(Literally :)) It will last a good while. There are 6 worlds. You have to complete a certain amount of areas in each world to complete the world. It's fun and will make you think a couple of times too.
But the real meat is in the multiplayer. If you invite three friends over, you will have quite a time blowin each other up. Classic Bomberman, and we like it that way. Good effort Hudson and Majesco, this may bring you guys some cold, hard, green.

SOUND:9/10
Very good sound. Some little jingles may get repetitive, but you get used to it. Bomberman's new voice is cool except, some people will consider it kiddy. Cute, and gets ya goin. Unless you are dark and stuffy.

GRAPHICS:10/10
OMG, the graphics are awesome! A combination of 3-D and cel-shading. As a matter of fact I can't believe no one tried this before. It's a good engine, and I hope it sees more use. Works out like a charm. I sure hope Zelda can pass these, but I am confident.

Story:7/10
The story is a bit above average. It's always the same concept, but different characters. The thing about these is , that they actually annoy you sometimes. The Hige Hige bandits constant ''HIGE HIGE HIGE HIGE'' can get annoying, but it makes you want to kill em' more.

Replay Value:10/10
This game will keep you comin back for 2 reasons.
1:The lighting cards. I am confident that getting all the lighting cards will unlock something.
2:MULTIPLAYER. Too bad this ain't online. But multiplayer is good. Enjoy it. Get some friends, get some controllers, kick their butts, gloat play again. A perfect formula.
