"This is one very slick basketball game."

NBA Street is a basketball game, like you expected. But there's a twist. Instead of the boring old 5 on 5 with all those rules, it's 3 on 3, and there are barely any rules!

I got this game for my birthday this year, and I immediately loved it. The first thing i did was try the ''Street School'' mode. I'll bet you're wondering what that is. Street School teaches you every single thing you need to know about the game. When you complete it, you'll get an extra court in Hold the Court mode, which I'll talk about now.

Modes Of Play:

City Circuit: This is what it's all about. Pick a team and battle it on all the way to the top. When you beat a team, you can either pick a player from that team, or you can choose development points. Development points are for your created character. Along the way, you get to play the six street legends. I won't spoil them, but I'll tell you that they are very good.

Hold the Court: This is basically exhibition, but there are different courts and there are two types of goals for each court. One is to have a winning streak of say 4 games, and the other is to have a trick point total of say 500,000. Trick points are what you get by doing tricks by pressing the trick point buttons and the turbo buttons. When they get high, the Gamebreaker meter fills up, and you can do a shot that adds points to your score and subtracts points from the other team. This is an incredible addition to the game, and it is very cool. Also, hold the court is the only mode that has two player.

Graphics: They are amazing. The players look very nice, and the courts look very real. 9/10

Play Control: Very very easy controls. B is to shoot, A is to pass, X and Y are for tricks, and Y,R,or Z is turbo. 10/10

Gameplay: There are 3 difficulties, easy, medium, and hard. You can choose, and the gameplay is marvelous. 10/10

Sound/Music:Usually i can't hear the music, but right after you do an awesome dunk or trick, this girl shouts out the name of the move. It's pretty annoying. The sound is okay, and the music's pretty catchy when I can hear it. 8/10

Overall: I think this is a great game that should be a must for every basketball fan. 9/10
